Introduction:
This system is designed and developed for PAEC establishments and for commercial use. Main
features of the system are collection of vibration data and fault analysis of rotating machinery
e.g., pumps, motor and other industrial equipment, data logging and fault diagnostics etc. System
is designed to acquire vibration data and find the working condition of rotating machinery e.g.
Fans, pump, Motor and other industry equipment. The system has data acquisition hardware and
analysis software installed on host PC.

Main Software Feature:

o

Data Recording

Data Playback

Time Waveform

Auto Power Spectrum

User Defined Configuration

Spectrum Snapshots

Auto Scaling

Alarm generation Based on ISO Standard

Getting Started
Install the Dual channel vibration monitoring system Host PC Software (Accelyzer.exe) provided
on the CD on the host PC. After the installation, its icon will be displayed as shown in figure
below.

Click on
This Icon

Switch on the data acquisition hardware. Double click on accelyzer.exe will open the graphical
user interface (GUI) of the DIVA host PC software as shown in figure below.

From the main GUI, user can configure the whole system for data acquisition, data replay, data
displaying, equipment selection and channel selection etc. These software features are described
in details below.

Main Menu
a) New
From the New button, a new project can be made by entering machine details. First of
all, name of the project is entered, then area is defined and then equipment in that specific
area is defined. It can be saved and used for creating reports. User can configure the system
and edit the machine information using this menu as highlighted in figures below. After
defining the machine details, user can change the input signal acquisition type i.e.
displacement, velocity or acceleration, units, sampling frequency, no of data points, signal
averaging, window types i.e. rectangle, hanning etc. and maximum frequency.

b) Save
After entering all the details of the equipment, project can be saved on desired location
using Save button. The same file will be transferred to analyzer using USB Flash disk
provided in the package.

c) Open
Open button can be used to open the saved project for vibration analysis. After clicking on
the open button, following dialogue box will appear asking for browse and select the
desired project file.

d) Dumping Acquired Vibration Data

After acquiring vibration data in the field using analyzer, copy the project file from the
analyzer to the host PC using USB flash disk. Use the open button to open the project and
perform vibration analysis. Vibration analysis can be performed as below:
-

Open the project in the host PC

Click on the area name in which equipment to be analyzed is present
Select the equipment to be analyzed from the list of equipment present in selected area
Select the point which is to be analyzed
Select the date and time of data acquired (if data is acquired multiple time on the same
equipment)

Time waveform and spectrum will be displayed which can be used for fault diagnosis using
vibration analysis rules.

e) Special features
For curser movement, click encircle button. User can up/down curser for analysis. Similarly,
Zoom in/out option is also available. User can select color, auto scaling etc.
