ENGIE Indonesia Innovation Contest

In the framework of ENGIE Innovation Week from 15th to 19th

June, ENGIE Indonesia is organizing a call for innovative
projects.
What we are looking for:
A company, start-up or entrepreneur with an innovative project
relating to any of the following themes:

Energy Efficiency
Adapting energy production to demand is a key element in energy transition. ENGIE develops solutions for
smart energy and energy storage to respond most effectively to its clients needs, while reducing the
environmental impact of energy production and consumption.

New renewable energies

Renewable energies are at the heart of ENGIEs strategy and include marine energy, wind, solar, and
biomass. The Group devotes significant resources to research programs in emerging renewable energies:
offshore wind, geothermal, tidal, biomethane, microalgae and concentrated solar thermodynamic power.

Smart technologies
Facing the growing demand for energy while limiting CO2 emissions presents the big challenge of
producing and consuming intelligently. Smart grids are directional tools that help turn energy transition into
a more cooperative, more efficient open electrical system.

Smart cities and mobility

The economics of buildings for cities of the future, regional energy conservation, the fluidity of the
sustainable citys network, security and sharing of urban spaces, real-time management of connected cities
... ENGIE gets involved at the earliest possible stages of major urban projects in order to contribute to
sustainable mobility.

21st century gas

The intermittence of renewable energy complicates managing the balance between supply and demand.
The principle of Power to Gas depends on warehousing excess renewable energy production by
transforming it into hydrogen or methane.
