Warrap State has a high population density for Southern Sudan. There is a significant shortage
of trained teachers, 60% have no training. Only 2% of teachers have a diploma and 3% have completed in- Abyei
service training. The state has been looking into teacher training improvements, including local languages. In September 2009 Abyei was determined to become
