Network & Security Engineer

Overview:

Part of a dynamic team working for a vibrant security solutions company, Network
& Security Engineers work closely with customers to design, deliver and support
robust, commercially beneficial and technically innovative solutions utilising the
latest industry leading products and services. The ideal candidate will be results
orientated post-sales professional seeking a role in which they can flourish in an
energetic, challenging and supportive environment.

Responsibilities: Network & Security Engineers are responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

Support and identify, either on site or remotely, issues affecting customer

systems, then formulate and implement a plan to resolve them.

Use the internet and other sources of information to remain up to date with
technical issues affecting the ICT sector.

Meet with clients at all levels to analyse, review, identify and develop
relationships that meet/exceed customer needs.

Contribute to highest levels of prospect and customer satisfaction.

Motivate and work within virtual resource teams to work effectively in assisting
them to win business.

Make recommendations on improvements to Imerja services and service

quality.

The above list is not exhaustive and you may be asked to undertake
reasonable additional duties by the Board.
Experience:

The ideal candidate for the role will be able to demonstrate the following
experience:

Educated to graduate level with relevant IT degree and a minimum of 2+ years

providing IT solutions in a technical support role and to a high technical level.

Implementation and support experience on one of more of the following

vendor products: Check Point, Cisco, Juniper, Aruba or Extreme.

Formal accreditation with any of the above vendor product sets is very
desirable, in particular Juniper and Extreme.

Experience of IT security is desirable.

Fault finding on complex systems consisting of equipment from multiple

vendors.
