ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This

workshop

aims

to

enlighten

the

researchers with new ideas and techniques in the area

of Image Processing conception through Mathematics.

Mathematics is considered the base of all sciences. It

has application in almost all the fields of scientific as

well as non-scientific study. No doubt the same will be
true in the case of imaging and vision science. Image

Processing is the analyzing and manipulating images

with a digital device. Image Processing concepts are

applied in the areas of Medical Imaging, Bio-metric
Recognition,

Defense

and

Space

applications.

Computer vision is concerned with the theory behind

artificial systems that extract information from images.

Hands-on training with openCV software will open a

door for programming in the field of image processing

and computer vision. The main objective of this

workshop is to elaborately address the application of

mathematics in image processing and computer vision

and to make the faculty and budding engineers to

upgrade their knowledge in this area. Also, it provides
a roadmap to choose new research problems.

Sessions will be handled by experienced faculty

members and Experts from reputed Institutions and

Industries
