logging into netgear router configuration & set up page ,normally in order to
access netgear router page enter Routerlogin.net or Routerlogin.com in
address bar of your browser , a login screen will appear for username &
password authentication ,use username as admin & password is password.
Routerlogin.net generally directs you to netgear router ip address page which
is 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1 , in case of modem router combo ,ip address is
192.168.0.1 .
NOTE: if you have installed any antivirus or firewall device ,please disable it
, sometimes softwares like kaspersky , AVG , norton , etc. All these

able to access router login page using default ip address. In such cases,

R 8500 router set up : In order to configure R 8500 router , first of all turn on
your netgear nighthawk router , once the power light is solid white , connect
ethernet cable from yellow internet slot of router to your cable modem or dsl
modem, then connect extra ethernet cable from lan1 of nighthawk router to
your computer .
Once all the cables are connected properly , then restart your modem &
netgear nighthawk router, after 30 seconds first turn on the modem ,then the
router , once all the lights are stable on the router & modem launch a browser
on your computer and then type routerlogin.net or routerlogin.com in address
bar of the browser , a netgear genie configuration page will appear , then
click on the first option(yes ,i want netgear genie to configure my router )
after about 1 minute you will get a prompt , to set up router either in access
point mode or just router mode, select appropriate options to finish the
netgear genie setup process.
