About Delta Electricity

So what is a summer internship?

Delta Electricity is a leader in the

generation of electricity in Australia.
We produce electricity from coal, water
and biomass as well as managing the
States largest base load renewable
energy project.

An internship is an opportunity for university students

currently completing their degree to gain practical skills
and experience over the summer vacation period.

Our environmental management

procedures are in line with
environmental best practice and are
underpinned by our dedication to
strong community relationships and
sustainable development.
Deltas journey to a long term
sustainable footing requires us to
maintain a balance between the
electricity demands of the community
and our operational impact on the
environment.
We are committed to renewable and
low emission energy generation,
sustainable water use and reducing
the impact of our operations on the
environment and our neighbours.
Most of our electricity is generated
at four power stations in New South
Wales. These are located at Vales
Point and Munmorah on the Central
Coast, and Mt Piper and Wallerawang
near Lithgow.

These skills and experience complement the theoretical

aspects of your studies and give you a great advantage
when applying for Graduate roles in the future.
