INTRODUCTION

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Hotel Bintang Tiga City Resort is a building for commercial inn

function. The building is consisted of 5 to 6 floors divided in two
building core. There are 4 typical floors (includes building 2 ground
floor) , 1 ground floor and 1 basement level. The building is located at
urban tourism area in Bandung. The objective of this project is to
design an appropriate sewage system that can flow the domestic
wastewater from the building properly and fulfill the regulation,
making the hotel building comfortable and healthy to occupy.

served effluent from guest rooms, toilets, pantries, restaurant,
caf, laundry rooms, spa room and swimming pool. The sewage
system in the hotel building applied the principal of green
building which was water conservation by recirculating the
treated greywater for toilet flushing and placing biopores in green
spaces around the building. The sewage system consisted of 3
piping stages: Horizontal branch pipe, stand pipe, and building
sewage pipe.

Sewage piping system in Hotel Bintang Tiga City Resort Building was
divided into two wastewater type, blackwater and greywater. Greywater
pipe received effluent from kitchen sink, lavatory, floor drain, and washing
machine while the blackwater received effluent from toilet and urinal.
Mostly, the system utilized gravity system and used PVC based pipe. The
pipe diameter of the blackwater system was ranging from 80-150 mm
while greywater was in the range of 32-110 mm. The pipe slope in the
system was designed between 1/50-1/100. Overall budget estimation
plan of the sewage system in the hotel was calculated at Rp 287,266,064.
