describe plumbing tools and equipment for plumbing installation.
INTRODUCTION
Include in this information sheet are the different plumbing tools and
equipments in plumbing installation. Tools are categorized in to two, the hand

Cutting, Measuring, Holding, Driving Tools and etc. It is a must for the
plumber to select properly what tools and equipment needed according to job
specification.
Plumbing Tools
Plumbing tools fall under one of two categories:
1. Hand tools

A wooden handle on tool such as a hammer or an axe is loose, splintered
or cracked
The tool head could fly off and strike the operator or bystanders
Impact tools, e.g. chisels and wedges, are unsafe if their heads are
mushroomed
The heads might shatter on impact sending sharp fragments flying
Wrenches must not be used if the jaws are sprung, cracked or twisted
The wrench could slip off
