Reading Math
Our last basal book selection is entitled - -We have officially finished the Harcourt
The Down and Up Fall, by Johanna Math series! We will finish the year by
Hurwitz. The focus skill for this story is reviewing skills and I will introduce skills
Author’s Purpose. We will also be talking that will be covered next year.

Classroom News Science/Social Studies


Some students have not memorized all of their
Multiplication facts yet. Please get flashcards Social Studies – map skills
and work on this skill over the summer. Knowing
Science – Water and the aquifer
the multiplication table is the foundation for
fifth grade curriculum. If you have any

Fourth Grade Skits

The children are working on skits to perform for the school and for
families who are able to come. If you have any old hooded
sweatshirts you could donate to the class, I can use them for
costumes. Please send in by Wednesday of next week. Thanks!

Since The Dinosaur Family skit is lengthier than the Bremen


Musician skit, I have formed two groups for performing The
Dinosaur Family. The dates for the skits are as follows:
