SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAICS IN INDIA

KEY INFORMANT QUESTIONNAIRE SOLAR PV IN INDIA

This survey is for a research project being carried out by a postgraduate student
of Environmental Design and Engineering (Built Environment) Bartlett Faculty,
UCL.The project attempts to understand energy demand and the potential of rooftop
solar photovoltaics in India.
QUESTIONNAIRE PURPOSE AND GOALS
The key informant interviews for this project aims to collect information from
professional, researchers and companies in India about Solar photovoltaics (for the
following reasons)
1. To obtain information about current processes and trends in the industry
2. To obtain certain input imformation to create an excel tool model for rooftop solar
potential being attempted by the student
3. To obtain an understanding of barriers to the use of decentralized, site generated
renewable energy in Indian residences
This questionnaire requires about 20 minutes of your time.The information collected
through this process is confidential and the student is required to use this
information only for the purposes of the current project. No personal information is
required.
