Mongolia
Mongolia is a landlocked country located between China and
Russia. It is a vast emptiness that links land and sky, and is
one of the last few places on the planet where nomadic life is
still a living tradition. Mongolia may have various
geopolitical, cultural and geographical meanings. Mongolia
consists of historic Outer Mongolia. The province of Inner
Mongolia is geographically and politically separate and
located in northern part of China yet it shares common
borders with Mongolia.
Traditional dress
Hats: One of the most colorful and original items of
Mongolian national dress is the traditional head wear. The
Mongolian head dresses differed in shape and purpose; there
were hats for the young and old, summer and winter & men
& women, holidays and ceremonies & fashionable and
everyday hats.

Mongolian food:
The nomads that live in Mongolia sustain primarily from
products that are derived from cattle, sheep, horses and
yaks, which are domesticated. Meat is mostly cooked or used
in soups and dumplings. The large percentage of animal fat
in Mongolian diets helps the natives to withstand the cold
and also work outdoors.
The milk and cream derived from these animals is used to
make diverse beverages, cheese and other such products.
Some traditional dishes:
Dairy products in Mongolia food variety differ greatly in
terms of their taste. These products are called 'tsagaan idee'
and include a lot of milk. The inclusion of milk denoted
