ThisblogexplainsthebenefitsandprocessofloadinghierarchieswithtransformationsandDTP,usingnew
frameworkinBW7.30
Inourexample,wewilltakethebelowstructureofhierarchytoloadasshowninthebelowfigure.
StructureofHierarchy:

Intheabovefigure,wecanseethehierarchylevels.
RootNode:DCR(0HIER_NODE)
Level1:Components(infoobject=ZCOMP)
Level2:Parts(infoobject=ZPARTS)
Step1:
CreateHierarchyfile:
Createthefollowingfileinexcelandsaveitas.CSVfile.

InfoObjectnametowhichweloadtheHierarchy,ifweuncheck,thedatasourceiscreatedinOldStructure

datasourcefrom3.xto7.3usingmigrationtool,whichcreatesaPSAtablethatcanbeusedtoloadhierarchiesusing
transformations.
WehavetoselectSourceSegmentsandTargetSegmentsanddothenecessarymappings.
