The motor body. end covers, gear bo){es are manufactured Irom close
grained casl iron. All the gears and Plmons are made out of lop grade
Special alloy steels, which are heat treated and lapped lor long lite and
SIlent running The ball/roller beanngs used are 01 good quality and are
suitable for heavy duty application. The input and output shafts are 01
high qualrty steel For low speeds, the motor shah has integral pIOion
and the shalt IS made out 01 special alloy steel
The ElectrIC Motor IS designed lor trouble lree, economICal
performance. It seals 011 the Input SIde 01 the gear box. Normally It IS
totally enclosed, Ian cooled, continuously rated, Class B insulation
operating 00 400/440 volts, 3 phase, 50 cycles A.C. supply as per
I.S:325. Class F or H lnsulcltlon, IP 55 enclosure etc. can be ollered.
The lubrication 01 beanngs, gears, pinions IS achieved by splash
lubrication which provides ample and positive flow to all 01 them.
011 leakage is prevented due to the prov~loo 01 oil seals No special
care is needed excep' periodiC tOPPing up 01 the lubriCating 011 to the
required level
