Application system involves maintaining of account and customer related information. This
requires greater accuracy, speed that is why the proposed system is the computerization of the
existing system. The computerization system does the job monitoring the record in easy and
effective manner as stated below:

1.3. PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

The purpose of the Spa Management Application is to manage the appointment schedules
getting booked from different scenarios like web, phone and online into Spa. In which the spa
therapists, clients, stockiest, branch manager etc. can access the information and will be
remain updated with current data like stock, bills, appointments etc. It will provide interactive
environment for thetherapists, clients, stockiest,branch manager etc.by getting knowledge of
appointment schedule, billing, stock module,SMS/Email notices etc.

1.4. PROBLEMS IN EXISTING SYSTEM

In the ongoing process, the records are maintained manually and the paper work is more.
Entering Record Entry of each record is done manually each time the record is done manually. Each time the
record is maintained on paper and it maximizes the maintenance of additional files.
Searching the record Due to absence of unique identification of person the searching of record takes much time
and in the wastage of time increase.
No Scope for SMS integration As per the clients requirements there is no possibility to embed SMS and email integration
for stock update and to send customer and therapists reminders about appointment.

As the work is carried out manually so the requirement of the maintenance of record.

The system is handled manually so it requires a lot of time to maintain the records.

The current system is not reliable as manually recording often leads to mistakes and
no accurate result are found.

No feasibility

As huge data is to be maintaining, so its not easy to maintain the huge data without
any error, which in turn makes the less efficient.

System is impossible to use on IPAD and Android OS.

password protection access to the various sub-modules. For example, a user may be given
access to the stock module but may be restricted from overriding billing or security
information. If such a request is required a user with the correct authority may log in
temporarily to perform the override operation.
