In the event of an ERROR: HEATING ALRAM: both
displays (X and W ) are blinking.
If the EMERGENCY HEATING mode is selected, X
= current ACTUAL VALUE of the melt temperature
is blinking and the displayed value does not
correspond to the actual value.
In the event of failure of the thermocouple
(ERROR: HEATING ALARM) the displayed
temperature value does not correspond with the
actual value.

This help function is designed for circuit and
function tests of the electric parts connected to the
P ro D os . With this menu, individual DIG-OUT
(digital outputs) can be switched to 1 = ON or 0 =
OFF.
If the INTERNAL TEMPERATURE REGULATOR is
on, the signals I-31 and I-32 (HEATING FULL
LOAD / PARTIAL LOAD) are locked. A respective
message is displayed, if the cursor is placed on
these signals.
If this help function is activated, the
display of the furnace filling level is not
updated.
Therefore,
ensure
that
the
furnace is not refilled.

setup for CELL filling level detection for the
WESTOMAT has been completed previously and
according to the equipment of the unit, the
respective data is already saved for HPDE
operation. The entry and setup must be repeated.
The saved data and the setup data are automatically
recorded in LOG K13, K14 and K17 to K19.
ATTENTION
During these setup procedures, the filling level
indication of the furnace is deactivated.
The filling level scanning by means of the HPDE
system is only fully activated if the DOSING
OPERATION is switched on (with operating modes
TOP-STOP and LEVEL-SCANNING).

In the setup option for OPERATING DATA, the data
for the OPERATING-kg-DIAGRAM for dosing volumes
must be entered and saved in the Pro Dos DPC
programme. The smallest and largest dosing volume
define the dosing volume range of the WESTOMAT .
For the completion of this setup procedure, the values
established in the setup process for REFERENCE
VOLUMES must be transferred and saved. The dosing
range can be extended at a later stage to suit different
dies. Proceed as follows:
