REFLECTION SESSION:
What went well?
Generally, this session was successfully since the students were able to
demonstrate their knowledge regarding the topics learned. The first activity
promoted work-group and motivated the students to give the best of them.
Besides, it helped them to reduce their anxiety regarding the exam. Although this
activity was a competition, there was no problems of indiscipline.
It was evidenced that the pre-exam helped the students to carry out the real exam
since there were no too much doubts and students knew what they had to do. This
demonstrates that the teachers scaffolded the learning and helped the students to
accomplish the general aim.
How do you know that?
The students comprehension was checked by using display and referential
questions. Besides, it was observed that learners did the exam without too much
errors. They were concentrated on it and teachers just helped them one or two
times.
What didnt go that well?
Although the students knew what they had to do, they spent too much time. For
this reason the last speaking activity could not be carry out.
What would you do different next time?
In a next time, the teachers have to warn the students about the time. It is
necessary do control the time with a timekeeper and finish the activities according
to what was prepared. Besides, the warming up activity has to be shorter in order
to start the exam quickly and develop all the activities.
