CAUSED

Water is an important resource for human life and global life support system. Humans
need water to carry out daily activities such as agriculture, fisheries, industry, transport and so
on. However, water is increasingly polluted because of the irresponsibility of some people.
According to the Environmental Quality Act 1974, water pollution is defined as any change
directly or indirectly to the physical, thermal, biological, or radioactive, that any part of
environmental releases, remove, or lay waste to the detriment of its usefulness and cause a
dangerous situation and harm the health, safety and welfare of the public, or other life such as
birds, wildlife, fish and aquatic life and water plants.
In our group observation, there are many factors that contribute to the cause of water
pollution in Parit Raja Market. The main reason that can be attributed to this pollution is
pollution resulting from wastewater of eateries that flow directly into the drain without using
a filter to filter out the rest of the food. Food waste is then flowed directly into the drain and
causing the smell and clogged drains. The leftover food can be seen clearly in the drain that is
like rice, oil, noodles and so on.
Besides that, there is water from garbage cans that are close to market. The water
from the garbage can is also a major cause of foul-smelling water. Besides the waste water
flowing down the drain, trash is also dumped there by irresponsible individuals and has
caused serious water pollution.
The third is, the cause of which came from the store sells chicken. Blood of
slaughtered chickens flow directly into the drain, it can cause the drain water contaminated
with chicken blood. Also, vegetables are sold can also be hazardous because if it was
poisoned vegetables are sold, then the vegetables are washed and vegetables of water flowing
into the drain, the drain will contaminate water quality.

IMPLICATION

The effects of water pollution it causes problems for living things in the world today,
including human rights. Materials dumped in the river will reduce the oxygen content in the
water, they die when consuming poisonous substance from the water source is contaminated.
Human will get a serious illness if they take food from aquatic sources. Humans can get the
disease or severe health problems if drinking or using contaminated water. In addition,
garbage were thrown into the water also encourages bacteria to multiply and become a
problem to life in the water or even to the man himself
Next, water pollution also causes the beauty of the world currently affected. The areas
that are filled with rubbish annoying and beautiful to look at. Garbage to cause it to happen.
Drain the water situation as a result of a foul-smelling bacteria from contaminants that are
discharged into water creating an uncomfortable situation for humans and other living
creatures in this world.
