Fourth Sunday of Easter
In the conflicting and confusing messages of modern society, the voice of the Good
Shepherd is heard clearly in families that establish rules based on the Gods
commandments and rituals that communicate belonging, love and guiding
discipline. Follow the voice of the Lord in your family protect and love each other.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord!
318 Holy Hours were kept with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration last week.
Jesus said Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. (John 14:27) The
outward peace we can experience in Adoration (the quiet and the stillness)
reaches much deeper. It leads to an inner peace that affects all areas of our
lives. It doesnt mean everything in our life will be perfect and without suffering, but
Christs peace means that we know that the storms of life cant shake us.
If you
are searching for peace, please try a Holy Hour....call Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926.
The Charismatic Prayer Group will not meet today Sunday, April 17. The next meeting will be

Catholic Charities Summit Adult Day Services Caregiver Support

Group

Summit Adult Day Services facilitates a monthly caregiver support group for those
who face the challenges of ongoing care for older adults. The group offers
opportunities for education and support to caregivers in managing their own health
and wellness while meeting the needs of their loved ones. Summit Adult Day
Services is a community-based intervention designed to care for the aging
population experiencing cognitive or functional limitations, as well as to address the
needs of those at risk of social isolation. The caregiver support group is just one
way the program serves both the participant and the caregiver by providing support
to help manage the tasks of daily life and the associated stress of meeting these
needs. Through the group, caregivers receive encouragement and guidance to
bolster their own mental health and well-being which increases the likelihood for
successful care for their loved one at home. Meetings are held at 10:00 a.m. on
the last Wednesday of each month at Summit Adult Day Services 812
Biruta Street Akron 44307. For more information, please call 330-7622000. Additionally, free care is provided for the older adult while
caregivers attend the group meetings.
