Brief introduction
Im going to tell you about one of my teachers whom I really admire. He was a great influence on me and
someone I still look up to him, like a role model.
Who he is
Barry thats his name is a Geography and Biology teacher at my middle school. He taught me
Geography and Biology for about 2 years, I guess. Before taking the job of teaching, he had had a
successful career in the army. That I think is what made him a little different from the rest of the staff he
had a lot of interesting experience.
How long I have known him
As I was saying he taught me at middle school when was I around 11 or 12. But our relationship went
much further than that. He was like a family friend and he still comes to visit us quite often and hes even
shared Christmas Day with us once or twice. So I suppose you could say we have known each other for
over 20 years now though naturally I see much less of him now that I have moved away from home.
His qualities
He has lots of qualities. For example, he was a strong disciplinarian at school and made sure that everyone
tidied their desk. But his greatest quality for me is his sense of humour and enthusiasm. When we used to
have lessons with him he was able to make all students want to learn because he told us many funny stories,
and he would show how us how enjoyable studying about nature could be even though I had no real
interest in the subject in the first place.
Why I admire him
Why do I look up to him so much? Well, because in the future I want to become a teacher, and I want to be
like him - someone who can inspire people to learn. I think I will have to learn a lot from him to become a
great teacher.

Kims Essay
Many young people believe that they should alter their jobs as much as they can. In my
frame of thinking, I completely disagree with this idea for two main reasons.
It is obvious that job security is the first reason that the youth should not alter their jobs
frequently. All people have to spend time and their ability when starting any profession so
they have a strong desire to obtain the benefit in the further future. In terms of finance, if
they have a stable job, they are more independent and confident in their own lives. More
importantly, young people can become a helpful individual by providing their families and
the community with a part of their salary. Evidence shows that young people starting their
solid careers have a better life without financial burden.
To keep the passion in working requires young people to have a long run development in
their fields. Obviously, although most people work with passion and enthusiasm, hardly can
they prove their potential talent without contribution to a particular job. Moreover, the
passion may be limited and cannot be promoted the highest level when they change careers
for the short term purposes. In particular, when working with their effort and enthusiasm,
young people can enjoy the happiness and satisfaction in their majors and they are still
guaranteed to have a promising future.
To sum up, it is rather common for young people to quit their job and challenge themselves
with another one. However, I think that they will gain the highest benefit when applying their
mind to a certain career .

Tourism: People have different notions about whether governments should provide easier
entrance for foreign visitors. While there are some negative points of this issue, I believe it
would bring more benefits to the countries.
Initially, some posible drawbacks can be encounted when governments enable more
foreigners to get in the country easily. For governments themselves, it would push them in
troubles of controling numerous local businesses and tourists. Terrible security control also
results in the countries' negative fame towards tourism. In terms of visitors, the service
quality that they receive is not guaranteed when there are a lot of tourism companies arising.
Guests might not have full satisfaction about the given service.
Dispite the forseen disadvantages, there are more reasons to back up the policy of welcoming
new friends around the world. The first point to be supported is the benefits for governments
and local residents. This leads to precious opportunities of broadening the countries' images
as well as exchanging cultures across nations. To take Vietnam as an example, when visitors
come to Vietnam, it is not only foreigners learning from our customs and traditions, but also
dewellers who could know more about others' countries through observing and
communicating. Furthermore, opening doors to friends from different countries urge local
agencies to compete each other for better services, which could benefit both businesses and
tourists. Competition, at this point, is positive and might bring many advantages like
economy development and tourists satisfaction.
To sum up, although there are some disadvsntages as we encourage friends around the world
to come by benificial policies for them, my perspective is that we still gain a lot and receive
more values from that.

---Media: It is true that apart from intersting meaningful programs, television also show its
drawbacks frequently through violence. I am totally resist this content because it is obviously
not an educational channel for children.
First and foremost, violence never influence children in positive way due to negative thoughts
and behaviors it provides. On one hand, now that we see a lot of horror, action and thriller
movies on many channels, these ones present crimes with extreme violence, which seriously
harm children's views on surounding evironment and people. On the other hand, parents
cannot always appear and interfere in time to prevent their children from watching those
things. Hence, spychology speaking, adolesents are apparently innocent and those insights
would come to their mind easily and quickly. They would be bit by bit filled with bad ideas and
actions.
Secondly, those absorbing too much violence might result in reacting violently, which brings
risks and bad impacts on the ones who play with them. Reminding of our childhood, if a
classmate had been hit many times, they would have had tendency to hit back and many
negative thoughts would have grown out of control. This might be considered as an
unexpected influence from television indirectly. This is what we call "butterfly effect" that only
small action might bring out huge consequence for many people.
To sum up, I believe that television has failed to educate adolesents with violent programs,
which lead to a wide range of bad influence on children themselves and people around them.
