2013 - 2016
Led and motivated a group of engineering technicians, field service engineers and project managers in
ensuring safe, reliable and efficient power distribution throughout the state of Florida.
Identified new projects and regularly met with planners to discuss projected loads to compare with
existing infrastructure capacity.
Highlighted current challenges and potential problems to continue providing reliable operations.
Led implementation of site operational excellence tools and routines to enhance department
communications, work-flow and metrics visibility.
Updated job knowledge by studying trends and developments in quality management, professional
publications and in professional organizations.
Selected Accomplishments:
Managed the development and execution of capital improvement plan and collaborated closely with
engineering planners and transmission engineers to successfully track on-going future projects and
needs.
Achieved quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic
plans and review on the Grid Level.
Implemented production, productivity, quality and customer service standards.
Led, trained, developed and support engineering technicians and field service engineers with the
analysis and solutions of existing power quality concerns with Large Account Customers (ex. Orange
County Convention Center, The Coca Cola Company, Dr. Phillips Hospital, Sea World of Orlando Theme
Park, Citrus World, Northrop Grumman, Polk County Detention Center, US Ambulance, University of
Central Florida, Crystal Photonics, Rosen Hotels, Wyndham Hotels).

Generated and maintained quality policies, procedures, preventive and corrective action processes, QA
measures and alignment of improvement activities to overall corporate strategy. Interpret and
implement quality assurance standards identified by client.
Managed and collaborated with the transmission division down to the distribution division to aid in the
mitigation of power quality issues affecting production.
Presented quality oral presentations and led meetings intrinsically supported by detailed documented
reports, critical analysis information and trends.
Selected Accomplishments:
Successfully increased the power quality and reliability of Large Accounts from 45% - 85% of the
targeted key performance metrics. Therefore, reducing the amount of Public Service Commission
Complaints.
Developed a structure to the position which lacked direction. Created a check list to cover for each
individual large account customer in order to bring together the different aspects of the Senior
Engineering role.
2009 2013
Led all service-related business operations locally and regionally, developing and implementing capital
improvements, implementing solutions for customer challenges related to power distribution systems.
Management responsibility for certifying all work performed.
Hired, supervised, motivated, and trained 16 field service personnel, providing feedback and ideas for
future work performance while remaining in a leadership position.
Developed predictive and preventive maintenance programs for commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical,
and healthcare end-users (ex. Pfizer Inc., Amgen, Plaza Las Americas, Plaza Del Caribe, San Patricio
Plaza, Centro Medico, Ashford Medical Center, Caribe Hilton, La Concha Resort, Olein) in Puerto Rico
and the Caribbean Islands.
Generated and fine-tuned weekly schedules for three field service engineers and five power technicians.
Provided technical expertise in low and medium-voltage switchgear installation, service, and
modernization, control assemblies, and correction capacitors.
Created a centralized equipment hub that dramatically increased process efficiencies.
Selected Accomplishments:
Led the operations department through successful OSHA & EPA audits, resulting in zero observations.
Led and motivated the organization to deliver and even exceed more than 90% of the targeted key
performance metrics during a year of uncertainty given outsourcing studies being conducted.

Selected Accomplishments:
Identified gaps and implemented improvement plans in personnel expectations and recognition, training
and qualification, safety and productivity systems resulting in the following:
o Lock Out & Tag Out Safety Procedures Reducing the number of incidents by 90%.
o Arc Flash Training Acknowledge the hazards of working with live equipment and highlight
proper use of PPE.
o Personnel productivity increased by 50% since recognition was provided to a selected employee
every quarter, therefore making them feel appreciated for their work.
Verified all testing equipment and facilities infrastructure were in proper working order.
Studied local and federal laws, along with regulations related to environmental, transportation, and
labor compliance.
Developed controls and reporting systems, monitored project schedules, evaluated daily work reports,
and conducted milestone tracking to continuously measure project progress.
NOTE: OTHER POSITIONS WITH EISEC INCLUDE TECHNICAL ADVISOR (2000-2002) AND POWER TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT
(1997-2000).
