Labour Candidates for KENTON EAST

Vote Labour on 6 May

Mitzi GREEN
Mitzi grew up - went to school, and has lived in Kenton nearly all her life. She is
proud to be a governor of her old school, Kenmore Park First and Middle
schools, and where, thanks to Labour Government funding, we have a brand
new Children’s Centre.
Mitzi, a councillor for 12 years, 4 years for Kenton East, has worked hard to se-
cure the best services for residents. She has worked with Kenton’s Safer
Neighbourhood Team to help make the streets safer for residents and has
lobbied NHS Harrow to bring health services back to the Kenmore Clinic site as
soon as possible.
She believes that Kenton East has been short changed by Harrow Council run by
the Conservatives. Mitzi will continue to fight for the best health services; cleaner,
greener and safer streets; repairs to pavements and all the other Council
services that residents have a right to expect.

Navin SHAH
Navin is proud to have been Kenton’s councillor for the last 16 years during which
period he has worked closely with residents and tried to make a difference to
improve Kenton and help individual residents with their Council related issues.
Navin is also proud to have served as Leader of Harrow Council from 2004 to 2006.
Navin, an architect by profession, has lived in Harrow for 33 years. Navin and his
wife Rekha, also a Harrow councillor, have two grown-up children, born and
educated in Harrow.
Navin has taken an active role in Kenton dealing with incidents of burglaries,
antisocial behaviour, fly tipping and the disgraceful state of roads and pavements.
Whilst there’s been success in some areas where alleyways have been protected
with new gates, Navin continues to fight the Conservative Council’s failure to
provide services and support to Kenton residents. As your representative, Navin
promises to work with you to ensure Kenton receives the improvements and
facilities the local community needs.

Victoria SILVER
Victoria wants to serve the residents because of her passionate belief in social
justice and improving the lives of people in our community. She is keen to help
make a difference by working with local residents to tackle problems in our
community like anti social behaviour, clearing up our streets and waste grounds.

All her political life Victoria has fought for things she’s believed in. She’s led
campaigns on youth services, disabled children’s rights, overcrowding, women’s
apprenticeships and affordable housing. Victoria says, “A Labour government
helped my mother and father take up higher education, which led my dad to
setting up his own business and my mum to becoming a civil servant.” As your
councillor, Victoria will bring experience, as well as commitment and honesty. She
will listen to everyone, and work across all sections of the community to deliver.
Victoria hopes you will give her and the Kenton East candidates your support.
