Is Baptism is a Salvation?

My answer is NO. I think that Baptism isnt a salvation. The reason is

because baptism is one of the act of sacrament that removes the original sin
that was done by our very first parent Adam and Eve. Another thing is that
baptism isnt really for salvation but it could save us from a bad conscience.
Some of the testament had said such as in the verse of Peter (1 Peter 3:21)
that Baptism isnt an act of physical purification, but the pledge of a good
conscience toward God. Baptism is one of the important thing that happen in
our life but to be clarify that it really isnt an act that could save us. For such
instances like the unborn child. What if the child was aborted, or in the worst
luck died while the mother was laboring their child. Then are they
automatically not saved? So for these circumstances the one that could save
them is through our prayers. Another example is when a person is growing
up and they were not baptized then what if they were some instances, What
if they were involved in an accident, or was stab or shot by a murderer, or
even when they are a soldier who were killed in the battlefield before all of
them get baptized. Are they automatically going to Hell? The answer for
these instances is that they are saved through their faith. Because of their
strong faith in Gods word to follow his teaching they were able to apply it in
their lives. Such as Jesus follower like Solomon, David, Abraham, Jacob, the
thief on the cross, and Cornelius. They werent baptized but those people
were saved because of their faith. The Bible never state that if you arent
baptized then youre not going to be saved. Baptism may not be an act that
could save us but it could enhance our faith through our lord Jesus Christ.
Even though Baptism isnt really for salvation but we shouldnt neglect it
because it plays an important role in our life. Baptism is a symbol. A symbol
of a water that gave us a new hope for a new chapter in our life which is
done by the work of the Holy Spirit who is helping us to be a children of God.
Another reason is that Baptism is an act of God that he does to cleanse us
from our sin. If we really want to be saved we just need to follow the right
path that God has plan for us. Such as attending the mass, doing good
things, following the Ten Commandments, become a blessing to others, and
avoid doing sins so that we can show our love towards our Lord Jesus Christ.
Another reason of why baptism isnt a salvation is the passage that Paul
have said that he was thankful that he didnt baptized any of the people
except for Crispus and Gaius (1 Corinthians 1:14). From these passage Paul
stated that baptism wasnt for saving people but the preaching of God.
Because Gods words are very strong that it could help a person because of
the good news that Paul has spread throughout the people because he is
trying to implement that if Baptism was supposed to be the source of
salvation then there will be tons of people will be alright if they will not be

saved then if that happens tons of people wouldnt mind being baptized and
will go to hell.
