Speakers and Workshop Leaders
 The Rev. Canon Jürgen Liias is the Rector of Christ the
Redeemer Anglican Church and Canon Ordinary for the Formation
and Care of Clergy in the Anglican Diocese in New England. He has
served in several parishes and has been especially involved in
movements of spiritual renewal within the church as a retreat and
mission leader.
 The Right Reverend William Leo Murdoch Prior to his election
as Bishop of the Anglican Diocese in New England in May 2009,
Bishop Murdoch was elected as Suffragan Bishop to the Archbishop
of Kenya in 2007 .He has served as rector of All Saints Anglican
Church Amesbury (formerly All Saints Episcopal Church in West
Newbury) for 17 years. He holds a B.S. from the University of New
Hampshire and a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Seminary.
 The Rev. Canon Mark Pearson is Canon Theologian to the
Charismatic Episcopal Church and for thirty years President of
Institute for Christian renewal, based in Kingston, NH. He is the
author of four books, has a doctorate (in Christian healing ministry)
from Boston University, and with his wife Dr. Mary Pearson leads
New Creation Healing Center, also in Kingston.
 The Rev. Canon Susan Skillen is Canon for Spiritual Formation
for the Anglican Diocese in New England. Her work includes spiritual
direction, training programs and retreats.
 Dr. Mary Pearson graduate of New England College of
Osteopathic Medicine and Board Certified in Family Practice
Medicine through the American College of Family Practice (ACOFP).
Mary belongs to Trinity Church in Kingston NH, and to Christian
Medical and Dental Association (CMDA), as well as Christian
Community Health Fellowship (CCHF). With her husband Canon
Mark Pearson, she helps run New Creation Healing Center, a
medical facility which seeks to provide whole person healthcare
within a Christian framework.
 Fr. John Clifton is Pastor of Church of the Prince of Peace in
Sanford, Maine within the International Communion of the
Charismatic Episcopal Church. Born, raised, and trained as an
Evangelical (Baptist), he joined the Charismatic Movement in 1972,
and spent thirteen years as a Charismatic pastor and teacher. He
encountered the Liturgy in 1985, and fell madly in love with the
historic Church. His ministry and teaching reflects his experience in
and love for all three traditions.
 Fr. Peter Donatelli is Pastor of The Mission Church of Christ
Jesus Victor in Brunswick, Maine within the International Communion
of the Charismatic Episcopal Church.
 Fr. Jim King is the senior pastor and rector of the Church of the
Holy Spirit in Portland Maine where he has served for 20 years. He
received his master of Divinity degree from Virginia Theological

Seminary and was ordained in the Episcopal Church in 1988 and
later received as a priest into the Charismatic Episcopal Church in
1990. Over the past 34 years as a believing Christian, he has seen
and been a part of numerous charismatic movements in the Church,
such as the Charismatic Renewal in the Episcopal Church, the
"Toronto Blessing" movement as well as many "seasons" of blessing
in his own church. By being a part of all of these moves of God, he
has seen many good things come of them as well as many decidedly
not so good things such as the so called "shepherding movement"
which resulted in the wounding of many people in the Church of God
throughout the world. Despite all of the things that have gone wrong
in relationship to the baptism in the Holy Spirit, Fr. King remains a
practicing Charismatic Evangelical in a church that weekly looks to
the Holy Spirit to work in the life of the body of Christ, manifesting the
power of God to heal and to bless His children.
 Dr. Jeffrey J. Niehaus Professor of Old Testament at Gordon-
Conwell Theological Seminary, BA Yale University and Ph. D.
Harvard University, has ministered in the areas of prophecy, healing
and deliverance.
 Elizabeth Price Since her baptism in the Holy Spirit in 1968,
Elizabeth has been speaking forth words and pictures from God for
the ministry of healing and the transformation of lives. The Holy
Spirit has ministered through Elizabeth with the charism of prophecy
in Episcopal, Anglican and ecumenical settings such as Faith Alive,
Cursillo, Fishnet, and innumerable small Bible and prayer groups.
Elizabeth is currently Coordinator for the Healing Prayer Ministry of
Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church. She has never sought official
ordination, believing that the Lord has called her to demonstrate
what the Holy Spirit can do in and through a perfectly ordinary lay
person.
 Josh Young leads worship at conferences and Nights of Worship
throughout the US and abroad. He has two albums and his songs
are sung in churches around the world. Locally, he has been a part
of two church plants in Massachusetts.
 David Costello is an accomplished Christian artist whose entire
body of work is birthed out of revelation by the Spirit. A licensed
minister, he travels internationally speaking and exhibiting his work.

 Roberto Miranda Senior pastor at Congregacion Leon de Juda in
Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Miranda holds a BA from Princeton
University and a masters and PhD from Harvard. University. He is a
is nationally known religious leader, and is very active in seeking to
bring unity and spiritual renewal among churches from all
denominations in the New England area. He is the founder of
Covenant for New England, a multi-denominational organization that
brings together various religious ministries for this purpose.

deep end. As with everything else, we need to go back to Scripture
to see what God says -- and doesn't say -- about the Person and

How to Receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit As with any gift from
God, it is important that the attitude, beliefs and expectations of the
recipient be aligned with the teaching of Scripture. Based on his
study of the Word, as well as his personal observation during
many years of pastoral practice, pastor Miranda will comment on
how to prepare ourselves for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit and Healing (Canon Mark Pearson)
In the past sixty years, there has been a great revival of the historic
ministry of healing through prayer. Many have been healed, but
some have been hurt by false practices and teachings which have
crept in. What is this divine work of healing and what are the danger
spots? And, how can I receive a healing for myself and how can I
minister it to others?

The Holy Spirit and Prophecy (Elizabeth Price) This workshop
focuses on the crucial role of the spoken and written word as the link
between the spiritual and the material worlds in the Old and New
Testaments and in contemporary experience. What God thinks, like
what I think, is invisible. If the thought is spoken aloud or written,
says Helen Keller, "then it will be visible, and the words will be its
body." Speaking or writing prophetic revelations is a way God
ministers healing and encouragement to believers and non-believers
alike.
The Holy Spirit and Liturgy (Fr. Peter Donatelli) “Convergence
worship” or “three streams liturgy” blends three major categories into
one river of worship. How can a service be fully charismatic
(emphasis on the Spirit), fully evangelical (emphasis on the Bible),
and fully sacramental and liturgical? How can it be ancient and
modern, holy and joyful? Find out in this workshop.
Workshops, Round C 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
The Holy Spirit and Tongues (Bp. William Murdoch) Looking at the
relationship of Tongues and a prayer language and the release of
the Holy Spirit and spiritual-empowerment power for ministry.
The Holy Spirit and Discerning Spirits (Fr. Jim King) How can the
people of God know what charismatic manifestations, words and
directions are from God and which are not? Besides his personal
experience, Fr. King will be referencing the work of the Rev. Philip
Lee called "Against the Protestant Gnostics." as well the scriptures
and the writings of the Church fathers such as St. Irenaeus of Leon
and others. Ever since the first Pentecost, the Church has had to
deal with other spirits that were at work in others within and outside
of the body of Christ. The apostle John spoke about them as did
Peter and Paul. The church Fathers also struggled with false
prophets and deceptive spirits which all fell under the general
category of "gnosticism".
Fr. King will elaborate on what early gnosticism looked like and talk
about how it has reemerged throughout the history of the Church up
to the present day within the charismatic movement. He will also talk
about how it can be identified as well as how a church should
address it without rejecting or quenching the genuine work of the
Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit and the Creative Arts
(David Costello) The main focus will be on our personal relationship
with the Holy Spirit - spending time in His presence - listening vs.
doing - Identity. From that listening, that identity, we will look at some
examples of how the Holy Spirit can be involved in making art.
(Josh Young) Josh has a strong passion to tap into the spiritual
depths of music and creativity to help us experience the freedom,
hope, and healing nature of God’s love. This workshop will look at
the language of worship, allowing us to communicate Spirit to Spirit
with the heart of God, and helping us walk in the fullness of our
destinies.
