EHS Operations Readiness Advisor

Scope of Work
To provide overall support to and facilitation of EHS&SR activities for the
Project delivering to CLIENT World Wide E&P Expectations around
Production Excellence the Management of EHS&SR.
Providing the Production and Maintenance Team the EHS support for the
management of the various Operations Contractors.
Assist in the development and maintenance of key EHS documents as
required and including: SOPS, Emergency Response, EHS working
practices, land transportation policy and other support documents as
maybe required and as part of the Operations EHS Case.
Support activities associated with the EHS Management System, including:
Incident Investigation, Project Safety Reviews, MOC, Audits, Inspections,
Training and Risk Assessments and update of the Risk Register.
Support the MOPO and SIMOPS protocols.
Support EHS initiatives and themes such as: CLIENT Rules, Behaviour
Based Observation, Stop Work Policy, Competency Assessments.
Support the various emergency response teams, participate in drills and
exercises
As required directly support required EHS administration, for example: EHS
Statistics, Reporting, Action Tracking, Input to Synergi and Duty Rotas.
Support the development, communication and maintenance of overall
CLIENT EHS&SR Management System.
Support the management of external and regulatory interfaces.
Contribute to the identification and realisation of breakthrough
improvement opportunities.
Coordination of and input to Operations EHS Case Development.
Focus areas would also include occupational safety heath issues related to
noise, welfare , and hygiene
Assist in the implementation of the environmental conditions spelt out in
the EIA and undertake monitoring tasks as required and including waste
management.
Assist in the development and maintenance of EHS performance data
gathering, analysis, monitoring and reporting system.
Requirement & Skills:
Skills:
In depth working knowledge of risk / hazard management processes;
Familiarity with Malaysian State regulations;
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
Strong interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with
effective oral and written communication to both internal and external
audiences;
Should possess analytical skills to manipulate data spread sheets; and
Excellent PC literacy Skills.

Operations / EPCIC / QAQC / Project Services / Marine
Experience/Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry;
Must have minimum 3 years in EHS Management for Offshore Production
Operations or process safety, EHS Technical safety or Loss prevention
experience. This includes writing related procedures or reports in an
engineering/consultant organization that has worked with an O&G
Operator; and
Possesses a minimum Certificate in Engineering / Science / EHS
Must have valid BOSIET certificate or possess BOSIET certificate for the
past 3 years.
