For safety reasons, this kit must be installed by an authorized BRP dealer.
This kit is designed for specific applicable models only (authorized BRP dealers will confirm model(s))
It is not rec-ommended for units other than the one (those) for which it was sold.
This instruction sheet MUST be given to the purchaser.
Should removal of a locking device (e.g. lock tabs, self-locking fasteners, etc.) be required when undergoing disassembly/assembly, always replace with a new one.
Torque wrench tightening specifications must strictly be adhered to.
Always wear EYE PROTECTION AND APPROPRIATE GLOVES when using power tools.
Unless otherwise specified, engine must be OFF when performing any operation on the vehicle.
Always be aware of parts that can move, such as wheels, transmission components, etc.
Some components may be HOT. Always wait for engine to cool down before performing work.

WARNING

Install only one extension on the right side

and one extension on the left side of the
plow.

WARNING
TIGHTEN ALL THE BOLTS & NUTS ACCORDING
TO THE TORQUE SPECIFICATION TABLE ON
PAGE 1 UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED.
(Refer to the part list on the page two to identify the
parts).

ASSEMBLING THE BLADE EXTENSION

KIT.

BLADE KIT IS HEAVY!

To avoid risk of strain injury, NEVER lift the blade
by hand alone when handling the components or
assembly. Use proper lifting device or seek
assistance.
When blade is off the ground, NEVER be
underneath the blade. Serious injury including
possibility of death could occur if blade were to
drop suddenly.
Always wear safety shoes and appropriate gloves
when manipulating or working with this
equipment.

TOOLS REQUIRED:
Wrenches: 15mm and 13mm
Sockets: 15mm and 13mm
Ratchet

Install the plow extension kit on both ends of the plow.

Insert in the holes as shown.

Nylon insert lock nut M10 x 1.50 (qty 8)

Screw on the carriage bolts as shown.

*Install only when the supple deflector kit (sold separately) is installed on the plow.
Align the plow extensions with the plow and tighten the bolts and nuts.
NOTE: Do not tighten the nuts too much in order to prevent the rubber flap from becoming deformed.

WARNING

-Read the winch operators manual and all
warning labels before operating.
-Operate vehicle at a walking speed with blade
installed. Do not exceed 8 km/h (5 MPH) even
with the blade up.
-Plow cautiously, impact with hidden or
stationary objects may cause vehicle to stop
suddenly or go out of control.
-Avoid operating on slopes, steep grades or
rough terrain.
-Do not stand or ride on the plow.
-Stay clear of moving parts and joints. Keep
others away when operating or adjusting plow.
-Inspect the plow mechanism, fasteners, cable
and adjustments before operating. Replace all
worn or damaged parts before operating.
-Lower the plow to the down position before
leaving the vehicle unattended.

-Lorsque la lame est installe, conduire le
vhicule lentement. Ne pas dpasser 8 km/h (5
MPH) mme si la lame est releve.
-Utiliser la lame avec prudence. Un impact avec
un objet cach ou fixe pourrait causer un arrt
brusque du vhicule ou une perte de contrle.
-viter lutilisation dans les pentes et sur les
terrains accidents.
-Ne jamais se tenir debout ni sasseoir sur la
lame.
-Se tenir lcart des pices mobiles et des
articulations. Ne laisser personne sapprocher
lorsquon utilise ou ajuste la lame.
-Avant dutiliser la lame, vrifier le mcanisme,
les fixations, le cble et les rglages. Remplacer
toute pice use ou endommage avant
utilisation.
-Abaissez compltement la lame avant de laisser
le vhicule sans surveillance.

ASSEMBLAGE DE LEXTENSION DE LA
LAME.

AVERTISSEMENT
LENSEMBLE DE LAME EST TRS LOURD!
Afin dviter le risque dune entorse, NE JAMAIS
soulever la lame la main lorsque vous tes seul
quand vous manipulez les composantes ou
lassemblage. Utiliser le mcanisme de relevage
appropri ou demander de laide.
Lorsque la lame est souleve du sol, NE JAMAIS
tre sous la lame. Des blessures srieuses
incluant la possibilit de mort pourrait survenir si
la lame tombait subitement.
Toujours porter des chaussures de protection et
des gants appropris lors de la manipulation ou
de lutilisation de cet quipement.

Aligner les extensions de pelle avec la pelle et serrer les boulons et crous.
NOTE: Ne pas trop serrer les crous pour viter la dformation du rabat de caoutchouc.

Pour des raisons de scurit, ce ncessaire doit tre install par un concessionnaire BRP autoris.

Ce ncessaire est conu pour des modles particuliers (le concessionnaire BRP autoris confirmera lesquels). Il
n'est pas recommand de l'installer sur des vhicules autres que ceux pour lesquels il a t vendu.
Ce feuillet d'instructions DOIT tre remis l'acheteur.
S'il faut retirer un dispositif de verrouillage (pattes de verrouillage, attaches autofreines, etc.), toujours le
remplacer par un neuf.
Les couples de serrage indiqus doivent tre rigoureusement observs.
Toujours porter des LUNETTES DE PROTECTION ET DES GANTS APPROPRIS lorsqu'on travaille avec des
outils moteur.
moins d'indication contraire, il faut ARRTER le moteur avant d'effectuer toute opration sur le vhicule.
Toujours se rappeler que certaines pices sont mobiles (roues, composants de transmission, etc.).
Certains composants peuvent tre CHAUDS. Toujours attendre que le moteur refroidisse avant de travailler sur
le vhicule.
