Looks Like a Drum but.... Is a

Barrel!
This year, in the drum parade, the school
has decided that is better to use normal
drums with a wooden slice on top in the offi-
cial performance on San Sebastian day. In the
past, the school has used normal barrels since
it appeared for the first time in the drum pa-
rade.
New Teacher for 4º ESO
In October Iñigo Elias came to substitute
Txema Arbe in Latin classes. Txema had to
teach the Baccalaureate students and he didn’t
have any other time to do it so we can say
that he changed his 4º year ESO students for
the Baccalaureate ones.
Iñigo comes from the German school, where he
used to teach. He comes on Tuesday, Thurs-
day and Friday to teach the San Patrick’s stu-
dents who study Latin. He usually comes really

The new girl in 4º B after sharing 5 months
with us, left this school on the 20th january,
giving as a reason that her father has had a
job offer in pamplona.
However deep within us, we all know that per-
haps the real reason was that she had been
marginalized, but this is just a rumor, nobody
knows exactly why she went away.

Liverpool Trip
Last 5th of December, as happens every year,
the first of Bacaulerate students went on a
school exchange with Liverpool students with
the apparent objective of improving their Eng-
lish.
"The journey was very well organized" said Tim
Buckwell. He says that this year's group were
the best he has ever gone with.
Moreover, this year's trip has a little bit spe-
cial, in particular for Mikel Bravo, because he
met Fernando Torres, and went to his house.

Mock Exams
A few weeks ago,the forth year students did

the MOCK exams for the first certificate in
english and Certificate in advanced english.
Some of them did the fist exam and others
the advanced. In general the results of CAE
MOCK exam were quite good, however they
could improve with a lot of hard work. The
students that did the FIRTS exam last year
and did not passed, this year the FIRST MOCK
exam they did it really well, and the students
that did not do t last year the exam because
they did not want to or because they were not
as prepared as to pass the exam, they had
work hard and in the MOCK exam they did it
really well, with effort an working hard they
could get a good mark in the exam.

 Psychological Tests
In November the school psychologist went to
the 4th year´s class to examin them.
He only came for two Thursdays, in the maths
hour and the students did two exams, one in-
telligence test and the other one of what they
like. With the results of both tests, the psy-
chologist and the tutor of the students are
going to meet the parents and the student,
and together they are going to decide what to
study next year and in the future.
" The tests were very easy" said Ainhoa and

On the 3rd of March, Ander Goitia a student

The 18th of March each year, we celebrate
St’Patricks Day. On this day there is a competi-
tion in which the class that wins most points,
goes to the beach in June. In such competition
there are a couple of activities to have fun.
Each activity has its own points and not all the
activities have the same number of points due
to the fact that depending on the difficulty and
how many people win them they give 6 or 3
points to the winner.
Normally the class that wins is one of the 4th
year, but this time the 3rd year group A won
with X points. They won activities such as:
ping-pong (6 pts), basketball (6pts), and 3
points shoot-out (6pts). 2nd year also got lots
of points and nearly won. ` I think that the two
classes in the 4th year were so focused in
