Systemic Attack Locations
Carotid Arteries Important arteries that run at the anterior of the neck and transport blood from the
heart to the brain. Severing these arteries will almost certainly render your enemy dead.
Attack Methods: The Carotid arteries can be severed by knife to cause bleed out resulting in death
in less than 30 seconds. Struck with a blunt force instrument like a stick or emptyhand chop to
create intense pain and shock in the enemy.

Sector 1 Carotid

Third Sector Femoral

Sector 2 Carotid

Fourth Sector Femoral

Femoral Artery This is the main artery of the thigh which transports blood throughout the body. It
is located on the inside of the thigh.
Attack Methods: The Femoral Artery is best attacked with a knife in a slashing or stabbing motion.
Severing the artery would cause bleed out and almost certainly death without immediate medical treatment.

Abdomen The portion of the body that lies between the thorax and the pelvis.
Attack Methods: The abdomen can be slashed or stabbed into with a knife very readily as its
position makes it a very easy to acquire target on the body. Slashing the abdomen would make it
very difficult for the enemy to keep inside the contents of his stomach and his intestines. A blunt
force strike to the abdomen is extremely painful with a stick or emptyhand and would cause the
enemy to bend over slightly due to the pain.

Absolute Center (Navel)

Sector 1 Abdomen

Sector 2 Abdomen

Navel The absolute center where the Vertical Centerline and the Horizontal Centerline intersect.
Attack Methods: The navel is very readily slashed or stabbed using a knife. A stab into the navel is
extremely painful and would send an enemy into shock. Death would result eventually if the wound
were left untreated. Effective methods of knife usage include "drilling" into the target and turning the blade.

Trachea A passage that allows air to go through from the larynx to the lungs.
Attack Methods: Stabbing through either the first or second sector trachea and pulling your knife
through will sever the trachea and cause almost immediate death in the enemy. The Trachea can
also be struck with a blunt force instrument like a stick or a hand causing the enemy to gasp for
breath and possibly killing him.

Sector 1 Trachea

Sector 2 Trachea

Heart A hollow muscle, which by contracting rhythmically keeps up the circulation of the blood
in the body.
Attack Methods: The heart can be stabbed into through the ribs from a 45-degree angle. A stab into
the heart will instantly kill an enemy. The heart can be struck with blunt force to cause a bump in
the rhythm, which could lead to death.

Sector 2 Heart

Perineum The soft region between the scrotum and the anus in males and the vulva and the anus
in females.
Attack Methods: The perineum can be either slashed or stabbed with a knife and is a secure kill
most of the time. A stab into the perineum will totally debilitate an enemy and cause bleed out
quickly.

Sector 3 Perineum

Sector 4 Perineum

Kidneys These are the pair of organs at the right and left sides of the abdomen which clear poisons
from the blood.
Attack Methods: A stab into the kidney will cause extreme pain and poisoning of the body as the
kidneys job is to clean the blood. A blunt force attack with a stick or emptyhand can damage to
kidney and cause tremendous pain. When struck the enemy can still continue to fight but in a
limited way, blood will show in the urine when the kidneys are hurt badly.

Assignment 1:
Define Carotid Artery what it does in the body and one way that it could be attacked from a
posterior position and an anterior position.
Assignment 2:
Give definitions for the following terms.

2.
3.
4.
5.

Heart
Perineum
Kidney
Trachea
Femoral Artery

Assignment 3:
Choose any one of the attack locations from assignment 2 and research them on the Internet. Find
out their purpose in the human body in detail and write a paragraph to explain it in your own words.
Give the reference where the information comes from.
