Topic outline:

Literacy: We will be learning about rhymes and poems and will be

having a go at writing our own. After our visit to the deep we will
be looking at fiction and non-fiction texts. We will then create
our own non-fiction texts about different habitats and animals
that live in that habitat. Billys Bucket.
Mathematics: This half term we will recap place value and link
this to money. We will be linking the maths to our topic and be
looking at weight, measure and capacity. We will also be
categorising and looking at block chart, venn and carroll
diagrams.
Science: This half term we will be learning about different sea
creatures and their habitats. We will look at why different
creatures survive in different climates and what it is like in each
ocean.
