Easy Fitting and Installation

HardiePlank siding can easily be fitted and
installed using basic hand tools. It can be cut
by using the custom-designed manual tool
HardieGuillotineTM, a shearer that quickly and
accurately cuts the siding with no breaking,
chipping or sawdust, or by using a regular saw.
Furthermore, the siding can be nailed without
any pilot drillings.

HardieTrim Profiles

HardiePlank siding is part of a complete

cladding system. Matching the siding in material and application, HardieTrim is used for
finishing around corners, doors and windows
as well as dormers and eaves.

HardieTrim profiles bring definition

and depth to the lines and edges of
the faade, including corners, columns, windows, eaves and doorways.

As a result, you achieve beautiful and practical solutions that last year after year with a
minimum of maintenance.

time with no breaking, chipping
or sawdust.

James Hardie Screws

A range of purpose-made fixings for
James Hardie siding products. The
James Hardie screws are available
both for wood and metal frames.

HardieBlade
Saw blade specially developed to produce only a very low amount of dust.
Diamond tipped edges make sure the
blade has a much longer life time than
the usual blades. Available in 160 /
190 / 254 / 305 mm diameter.

Tape
Tape underlay to be installed behind
joints. Available in rolls of 20 m.

Touch-up Paint
Touch-up paint for covering cut edges and small scratches. Matches all
the colours of HardiePlank siding.
Can of 1 litre.

MetalTrim Profiles
A range of aluminium profiles for interior and exterior corners. The profiles can also be used for combining
HardiePlank with other materials.

HardiePlank Siding
HardiePlank siding comes in the following dimensions:
width 180 mm, length 3600 mm, thickness 8 mm. Installed as
lapped siding with 30 mm overlap, giving a 150 mm visible width
per siding.
HardiePlank siding has a texture like roughly sawed cedar
wood with a natural grain.
The patented fibre-cement mixture provides HardiePlank siding with unique qualities among others allowing it to be nailed
either using a nail gun or a hammer without any pilot drilling
leaving the siding complete and free of cracks.

HardieTrim Profiles
HardieTrim profiles come in the following dimensions:
width 90 / 140 mm, length 3050 mm, thickness 25 mm.
HardieTrim profiles are used for finishing on edges and
around doors, windows, dormers and eaves, adding a finishing
touch and ensuring correct trimming of the siding on all faces.
The surface is smooth and yet with a rustic expression.
HardieTrim profiles are cut and installed following the same
instructions as for HardiePlank siding.
HardiePlank siding and HardieTrim profiles are manufactured
by James Hardie and traded by Cembrit in [local country].

For shortening and fitting of the boards, a custom-designed tool

is used for making accurate and clean cuts across the boards.
For rounded cuts, jig saw is recommended.
