1 (DAY)
Order the symbols as you listen.
Check your answers with your
teacher
and
classmates.
Encourage students to try and
number the images before they
listen. Play T25 for them to check.
Play T25 again for them to listen
selectively
to
their
own
horoscope. Do they agree?

2 (DAY)
Listen to the sports section of the
news about some of the athletes
who want to go to the Olympics
in 2012. Put a tick () next to the
name if the commentator thinks
the athlete is going to London.
Listen again and match the
name to the sport. Students study
the pictures and identify the sports.
Play T26. Students tick the correct
names. Play it again for them to
match the name with sport. Check.

3 (DAY)
Let's play and have fun! In groups of
four, take turns to toss a coin and move
two squares if you get "tails" and one
square if you get "heads." Answer the
question. If your partners consider
your answer correct and logical, you
move one square forward. If they
don't, you go one square back. When in
doubt, ask your teacher. Go through
instructions with students. Demonstrate
the game doing one turn with them.
Monitor while they play and be ready to
clarify when necessary.
