The Travel of mobile phones is an avatar started its revolution after 2000s.
Earlier,we had a mobile phones being bulky and heavy, incorporating only
the basic features. Now, a sophisticated device with all the latest features is
our smart phones without we cant reimagine our life. The latest phones
have become multiple devices,to make consumer life ease and comfortable.
Motorola, Samsung, Nokia, LG and Sony Ericsson are the leading market
players have taken the mobile market by storm.
On average, people spending most of the hours a day on their smart phones.
In this digital age, our mobile devices are portals through which we connect
everything with everyone. Most of us using mobile devices as a central part
of everyday life and higher percentage belong to aged 18-25 that is selfagreed. At an even greater rate,using mobile devices continue to stay up
connectivity with social events and media. These mobile devices give us
access to our social and business lives on demand in a mechanical world
whether its a tablet, more typically, our smartphones.
Smartphone shipments crossed 1.4 billion units in 2015.Worldwide sales of
smartphones to end users has record in third quarter of 2015 about 259.7
million units, according to Gartner.The worldwide smartphone market grew
more with in a short span of time in industrial sectors.This growth is led by
strong smartphone sales in emerging markets.The fastest growing regions of
using smartphones are emerging Asia/Pacific, Eastern Europe, and the Middle
East and North Africa.
Now days, the popularity of smart phones has gone up due to a fall in prices,
making them more affordable. The growth of mobile apps useful to mobile
consumers especially youngers and also attract multiple online users.Sharing
internet plays vital role, it is available in cheaper rate perusing mobiles and
According to Forrester Research, consumers spent the majority of their time,
that users would only use 26 to 27 apps per month totally. Consumers are
spending their time in Games and Music on smartphone represents 6 percent
of actual utilised minutes, where streaming video account 9 percent of
minutes. YouTube adopts 43 percent which is high, Books and magazines
represent 2 percent of smartphone usage minutes. Other categories like
Shopping (5 percent), Maps/Navigation (6 percent), Email (non-native, 4
percent), Productivity (3 percent) in smartphone using mobile apps.
Now days, smart phones can send and receive data much faster when
comparing past decade. The telecom industry uses different standard set to
be labeled the data transmission rates.
Significant stakeholder investments facilitate ongoing technology migration
to higher speed networks. 2G connections was the dominant network
technology globally in 2013 but fell a bit in 2014. Majority percentage of the

consumers will access 3G in 2020 from today. Highlighting that 4G networks


are rolled out at a faster pace than 3G.

In connected world,we are enjoying datas to be sent and receive but in


reality what we face actually is network traffic. We can say the data
congestion is creating unbeaten demand on the network. According to a
Cisco research report, mobile network traffic grew by a factor of 74% and
reached 3.7 exabytes (10^18) per month at the end of 2015. Drastic surges
in mobile data traffic demands Quality of Services (QoS) to consumers and
end users are not satisfied with the quality of network performance.The data
capacity crunch is real and creates choas on smartphones, laptop and tablets
due to strain network capacity, when intensifies Web browsing and streaming
music and videos. If data usage continues to surge ,think about the mobile
consumers and stakeholders? How can they manage to deliver the data and
its questioning the future capacity growth.Its a time for paradigm shift that
must be happen now.
Determining the right service levels for digital consumers effectively
1.1 Optimizing and Compressing Data Content

The Network congestion happens when the consumers using large amount of
video in the mobile network .The sensors must be proactively situated
especially to identify the buffer areas. When Youtube videos download,
uncovered and do not watch that most may recognize and should scratch it
off, to avoid glitches. This means that downloading the full video in advance
when watching, wastes a lot of capacity. Additionally, the video may be sent
in a suitable format for larger screen sizes. Its again wasting capacity.
Thoroughly analyse an active buffer streaming video,identify the buffer slots,
compress it into smaller and more efficient formats and reduce the order of
magnitude to increase the data speed.Ultimately,these techniques need to
implement with mass server and a wide range of smartphone devices to
provide a good viewing experience to the consumers.
1.2 Expanding the existing cellsite capacity
Improving

radio access network performance (RAN): Assessing the


performance of the radio network(RAN) by effective analysis tools and
recalibrate the thousands of parameters in each cellsite for better optimal
performance.
Establishing extra baseband processors: Initial deployments used less

hardware to reduce cost. From each radio carrier,adding effective hardware


at each cellsite will tend to achieve the full capacity.

1.3 Applying MIMO Techniques:

MIMO Technique is a cost efficient technique.Sectorising the transmissions


from each cellsite into three or even six spatially; a single cell should have
full capacity and each acts independently. This can be further amplified
through Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MIMO 4x4) doubling peak data rates,
antenna techniques which introduce spatial diversity and it requires an
additional physical antennas at each cellsite.This will be demonstrating
256QAM(Quadrature amplitude modulation) results of 30% boost up for
scaling up the network.By going this process,the network efficiency will
improve,the data rates will increase with the higher order modulation.
1.4 OffLoad data to Advanced Wi-fi (2.0)

Well known and low-cost radio technology that is present in many businesses
and indoor public areas is Wi-Fi .This would deliver the best performance by
using the available spectrum.It has been becoming a more professionalised
service, it needs to be properly managed when we add value add services.It
is a carrier-reliable product to offer carrier-grade service to all kind of
consumers.Poor penetrations would be avoided by encouraging the use of
these kind advanced Wi-Fi hotspots 2.0 at home and suitable indoor areas,
which yields better outcome to mobile business
as well as
consumers.Straining networks must be planned and deployed in adhoc way
of procedures.
The key components of this system will include some form of self-organizing
networks (SON),
which automate many manual monotonous processes. Consumers can also
enjoy this service.
1.5 Deploying Ultra dense network (UDN)

To cope up with the tremendous growth of mobile data traffic in future in


ultra dense network (UDN), dense transmission points (TPs) must be
deployed. For UDN,to overcome cell edge effect, the concept of hybrid
control mechanism and smooth cell virtualization is recommended. It is an
optimized way to deal with mobility and intercession problems as well as this
idea is proposed to implement in 5G wireless network.

Fig. 2 illustrates a consumer is sorrunded by several transmission points


(TPs) and forming a smooth virtual cell (SVC) which used to distribute a
consumer-centric service. Allocate one master TP which can be used to
power the workflow procedure of the respective SVC. To enable well balanced
survival of various SVCs ,Master TPs between different SVCs negotiate with
each other on resource allocation. Controlling speed for dynamic forming/reforming of SVC and
negotiation are possible because of the control circle has TPs in proximity. In addition, signaling via self-backhaul or
signaling over the air (SoTA) can further reduce latency on control signaling and make the virtual cell more efficient.
In the Future,devices needs to be densified.Recent days,wearable devices are becoming popular. Users may own
more than one device with demand for data connection and supporting direct communication among devices.
Multiple devices can be grouped as a virtual user. Virtualization on user terminals can also mitigate interference and
simplify resource allocation on the network side.

This cutsdown operating expenditure (OPEX) and total costs of ownership


(TCO), and enable business stakeholders to market their new services that
much faster and more profitable. Business stakeholders are able to sustain
their network models.

1.6 Improving Application Design

The present application may be not consist of traffic detection codes and
algorithm effectively.We need a better network traffic visualiser to locate the
exact points where the unnecessary bufferings placed.So, It requires better
behaved software by encouraging and persuading application developers to
write. A Comprehensive education and encouragement program must be
further needed for the developers by rating applications based on their
behavior. Requiring large sources of data traffic must be primarily derivated
and infuse to software program updates, in operating systems such as for
Windows and Apple Mac.

The IoT is already started to create impact in various industries through


greater evolution across several regions.
In Health care sector, connected smart phones or devices are being
in phase to achieve the following things.Complete inspection for the patients,
tracking the chronic diseases,monitoring the health conditions of the aged
and bed-ridden patients,facilitating maternal and infant daily care.It provides
access to take care and enable, remote monitoring of diseases.It also tracks
patients record and provide medicines through mobile medical devices. By
doing things such a way that connected device will reduce clinic visits of
doctors and cut costs. The emergency cases and the patients who require
attention are more focused in the health care system. It improves and cares
the patients, provides priority to surgical interventions and all these can be
achievable via mobile enable connected devices.
In the Transportation sector, innovative services are being
introduced across several regions.It is used to fragment hurdles in logistics. It
facilitates logististics in several parameters like safety of vehicles, traffic
flows,investments, billing and providing infotainment services to consumers.
Proceeding this, many user applications are being introduced which assist
and tracks stolen vehicle recovery and finding the position of vehicles

the inventory through touch screen. Retailers can use e-commerce site helps
the consumers to know the various sizes and colors of the product and
informations to get better clarity on garments by scanning a barcode. Digital
coupon facilitates the consumers to prioritise while entering the big stores.
Consumers can check inventory availability and call customer service for
assistance via their mobile device instantly. Age of perishable goods would
be monitored through sensors positioned and products can be restored as
per the timeline and conditions.
