1. How will these videos help me in my future endeavor in the world of work?

Through the videos that I have watched, it taught me how to prepare myself for the work
environment that I will be experiencing soon. It is proven, based on the research
conducted by Mr. Levering and Moskowitz, that the key factors in creating a great
workplace were relationships characterized by trust, pride and camaraderie. With the
experiences I had as a team leader, it is difficult to build a good workplace because of
the different factors that will affect our managerial or leadership skills. The videos have
given me techniques on how to further improve my skills in dealing with people and to
mitigate situations in case of conflicts and personal interest. I look into these videos as
an indispensable tool to adopt in an environment that is new to me since I believe that in
the future I will be handling people and encountering personalities that will possibly
oppose mine. The videos were a pathway and a sneak peak in achieving a peaceful
and effective workplace.

Convergys They pay increase for performance. There are helpful coaches and have
quality team leads. Also, they have Roaming staffs who will answer questions while on
live calls.
Lexmark - There is an emphasis on work-life balance. First-line management seems to
be extremely approachable. The company attempts to pair all new employees with a
mentor. Employees are always willing to help and willing to learn.
Jollibee - Top Management demonstrates the company's core values; and very sincere
in taking care of its employees. It provides scholarship and part time jobs to students. It
allows employees to boost their self confidence and handle different kind of customers.
J.P Morgan A great company to work for and there is a lot of room for growth and
internal opportunities. It has great pay and bonus for starting analysts right after college.
It is a strong company that is truly best-in-class professionalism. Also, it has exciting
work with community heavy-weights. It is a brand that competitors recognize. It provides
many benefits, perks and has great team environment.

3. Incident where dysfunctions of a team was present and how was it resolved.

A leader in a team was entrusted to organize an event that involves thousands of


people. He said to his members that it will be the best event that they will ever have.
With those words, he ensured that the every tasking will be in the hands of the
appropriate person and perfect in every way. He set deadlines on such tasks for the
incoming event. However, before the said deadlines, some of his entrusted members
failed to perform the assigned tasking which made him very disappointed. To the team,
pressure is everywhere since the event is fast approaching and they are still half way of
the preparation; they were aiming for the best. Because the leader wants to make
certain that the tasking were performed at above par, he rather executes them than
assign it to other people. As a result, he was so agitated and full that he failed to realize
that he hurt the feelings of his members. Like a grenade, his situation has greatly
affected innocent people.
The situation was resolved when the team had an evaluation of the event and the
performance of each member. The advisers of the team were present too. The
evaluation became an open forum where they discussed the what went wrong and
right and what caused them. In the end, the advisers told the leader the reasons why
there where deviations in the tasking. The reason behind was he failed to trust his
members in a given task. He is easily shaken by a tiny mistake or failure and with that,
he was told to trust his members again and allow them be responsible for the task
theyre assigned. It will boost their confidence since their leader believed in their
capacity. Appreciation will also be a contributing factor.
