My name is Ritesh Rokaha and I am a hardworking young, energetic and a dynamic person.

In my family, I have my father,

mother and an elder brother. I always loved to do the challenging tasks however, that doesnt mean I dont do the small tasks. I do
my home chores myself and I help my mother while she is cooking in the Kitchen. When she is ill I made the food for my family
and I always respect my family members .When someone in my family and other gives me suggestion or the way to approach at a
certain things I consider their suggestions and opting the best alternative from the various alternatives I take the final decision.
From, the beginning of my life I learnt the core values of focus, perseverance and patience from my family. Basically, my, father
always taught me that one should work hard and even if they failed one should never give up but work twice more hard
considering the things that made the earlier work fail. My mother used to say no work is small or bigger all work is same just you
have to have the right attitudes towards the work.
I always had set one principal for myself and the principle is whatever the life throws at you do not think it as a burden but think
it as an opportunity. I still remember what I learnt in my entrepreneur class i.e. whenever there is scarcity, necessity comes into
the role-play and this necessity should be taken as an opportunity. I am an optimistic person who sees there is much more we can
do if we give our time fully and acted in a smart way. I see life as a reality because whatever you do either good or bad it has its
own consequences. I always aimed to be a good son, good family member and a good citizen and I wanted to create a positive
impact in others life. I am a kind-hearted, sensitive person who knows how other feels when they are hurt or how you feel when
you are hurt by someone else.
I had done my schooling from the Nobel Academy and my high schooling from National School of Sciences (NIST) securing
first division. After that, I graduated from Kathmandu University School of Management and earned the Bachelors in Business
Administration degree with a major in marketing. Although, my major is in marketing I have selected all finance course as an
electives. By, learning both science and management I learnt that you should always compete with yourself. If you wanted to
excel in the field you should always do the things in which you are interested. While studying you should juxtapose various
qualitative and quantitative attributes and this will provide you a comparative edge over others.
During my seventh semester we have to do a compulsory internship in order to atrial fulfill the requirement of the BBA course.
To, be honest I extensively searched for the internship job and after few weeks later I got the chance to do an apprenticeship in
Machhapuchhre Bank Limited which was a well renowned A class Bank of Nepal .I was assigned to work in a corporate service
department (CSD) and my job primarily involves dealing with the general & business clients of the bank. At that time I knew that
working in a CSD department requires a high level of politeness, formality and standard measures. Working their greatly honed
my skills and also taught me the right business etiquettes.

With the completion of my bachelors degree I applied for the post of promotion officer in Kaizen international, Nepal.
I was lucky enough to get selected .My job was to sell the medical equipments and disposable items. My major responsibilities
were to arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams and I need to make presentations to hospital
doctors, pharmacists in the retail sector. For, this company need to take the pre-appointment with the clients or sometimes it may
be a regular cold calling. I need to follow-up with the clients regularly (doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams).
During, my one year work it helped me to build several contacts and an extensive network among the clients, retailers and
partners. This role helped me to develop an immense selling and marketing skills and also build my networking skills.
If I got the chance to study global MBA through the Korean Grant Scholarship program (KGSP) then I will study with my full
sincerity. I am extremely in need of this Korean Grant Scholarship because my financial condition is not good and if I am given
the chance then I had the caliber to prove myself. The KGSP scholarship will provide a breakthrough both in my education and
career. Through this government scholarship program provided by NIIED I will be able to work in a cultural setting and also, I
will get the opportunity to know about the Korean culture, traditions, customs and religion through my Korean colleagues,
faculties. I always have a strong desire to learn the Korean language and I used to watch many Korean movies in Nepal like
Millionaires first love, My Sassy girl and so on. I loved the way the Korean movies give the messages to the society. As, an
exchange student I will also be able to teach my Korean friends, teach the Nepali culture, traditions and religion; basically this
will help to build a strong cordial bond between the two friendly nations people.
Korea it has been an influential country and in business it has developed at an extraordinary rate like a phoenix rose from the
ashes. I am always glad and astonished to see the optimism that lies in the heart of Korean people. The hard work, dynamism,
unity and vision of the Korean people lead the Korea to be one of the top countries in the world in terms of business and
technological developments. In Korea now the lucky gold star (LG),Samsung and Hyundai and many more are the major Korean
manufacturing companies. South Korea economy has grown exponentially and if I got the KGSP scholarship then I will be able
to broaden my theoretical and practical skills. Moreover, if we look at the top education countries in overall Asia South Korea
tops the chart and even countries like Japan and Russia are behind it. The Korean educational degrees is recognized all over the
world so, this is one of the reason that I wanted to study in Korean university through KGSP program.
