Back and Front

Both parts make the same. Work in rows.
Row1: Ch1, hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across = 9 sts. Turn.
Row2: Ch2 (to count as 1st hdc), hdc in same st, hdc in next 7 sts, 2hdc in last st = 11 sts. Turn.
Row3: Ch2 (to count as 1st hdc), hdc in each st across = 11 sts. Turn.
Row4: Ch2 (to count as 1st hdc), hdc in same st, hdc in next 9 sts, 2hdc in last st = 13 sts. Ch14.
Turn.
Row5: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in next 11sts, hdc in next 13 sts, 13hdc with chainless
technique (for 1st chainless hdc insert hook in last st of row) = 39 sts. Turn.

Row6-18: Ch2 (to count as 1st hdc), hdc in each st across = 39 sts. Turn.
Fasten off leaving 15 inches tail to sewing.

Place both parts face-to-face and using yarn needle and cuts of yarn you left sew them together.
Turn on right side, rejoin yarn and using hdc of top row work in rounds as follow:
Rnd1: Ch3 (to count as bpdc), [fpdc around next hdc, bpdc around next hdc, fpdc around next
hdc] repeat around = 78 sts.

Rnd2: Ch3 (to count as bpdc), [fpdc around fpdc, bpdc around bpdc] repeat around = 78 sts.
Fasten off.

Rejoin yarn at lower edge (better to do in at joint) and using hdc of lower rows work all around
as follow:
Rnd1: Ch3 (to count as bpdc), [fpdc around next hdc, bpdc around next hdc, fpdc around next
hdc] repeat around. When you work corner sts work 3hdc in each of external corner, and
3hdc together (as one) in each of internal corner.
Rnd2: Ch3 (to count as bpdc), [fpdc around fpdc, bpdc around bpdc] repeat around.
Fasten off.
Make twisted cord from yarn and pull it through holes of design at top edge. Sew buttons on
wrong side of back part of diaper, so they look toward face when youre buttoning them
through holes of design.
