You cover all aspects of the task successfully.

Your writing is very natural. There is little or no
interference from your first language.
You use a variety of linking expressions.

You use a wide variety of grammatical structures and


vocabulary.
You use appropriate language for the task.
You use complex sentences and these are generally
correct.
There may be occasional minor errors in the structure
of some sentences.

You attempt all aspects of the task


Your writing is generally easy to understand.
You organise your writing well.
There may be occasional interference from your first
language, but this does not impede
comprehension.
You use some linking expressions.

You produce a good variety of grammatical structures


and vocabulary to complete the task.
You also use a variety of structures to avoid repetition.
