. To implement VoIP system we use 3cx phone system as example

:Configuration of 3cx phone system 3-1

open 3cx phone system .exe and click next -1

click next again and accept the agreement -2

Leave default settings until you reach network setup as -3

following

choose behind nat to manually set local ip adress -4

in default network interface write down ip 127.0.0.1 and -5

also at static public ip

write down your system admin e-mail 6

. choose the third option to use your local ip 7

write administrator username and password 8

click install an wait until the setup is complete 9

Now after we installed 3cx phone system we need to create

Extensions for soft phones to be registered on the system and to
. excute this we follow the next steps

: Creating extensions on 3cx server 3-2

open 3cx mangement console , and login using the user name -1
and password you writted in step 8 in section 3-1

choose exetinsion length -2

Select region and Time Zone of PBX -3

create operator Extension -4

now we are ready to creat extensions for registering clients on -5

the system , from the left menu choose extensions

from the top menu choose add extension -6

provide user information and authintaction information then click -7

ok

create additional 2 extensions or as many users as you want by 8

. repeating setps 6 and 7 again
After creating extensions now we are ready to steup soft phones and
. make our first call

configuring 3cx soft phone 3-2

open 3cx soft phone and choose settings from bottom right -1

chosse configure accounts -2

click + at the bottom middle to add the account -3

complete the inputs with the data you entered in step 4 in section -4
3-2 and click ok

now your ready and registered to the server -5

we repeat steps from 1 to 4 on another pc to have 2 clients -6

rigstered on the server

after we setup the call between 2 clients on the same server took
the following results

configuring sip trunk 3-3

Now we need to setup a call via 2 different serveres so we configure
. a sip trunk to be able to connect the clients over diffrent servers
open 3cx mangement console , and login using the user name -1
and password you writted in step 8 in section 3-1

2- from the left menu choose sip trunks

3- click add a provider from the top menu

4- write the name of the provider and choose the country then click
next

5- write down the information of the special extension id and

password created on the other server to be registered on the other
server

6- choose connect to extension to forward the call to your extension
