Production Operator/Lead Crane Operator
Duties involved assisting and leading teams engaged in the fabrication and assembly of quality
structural wind turbine blades in a safe and efficient manner that was in accordance with the
production plan. Duties required wearing protective suits, safety toe boots, eye protection,
gloves and other personal protective equipment as needed. Required to load, stack, and
transport materials by hand-truck, forklift, large forklift/loader as well as CAT 903c including
maintenance PMs and troubleshooting, Single, tandem, and triplicate 36 metric ton overhead
crane and rigging certified and jib crane including maintenance PMs and troubleshooting. Safety
inspection of all mechanical equipment, rigging, and harnesses. Minor crane maintenance
performed when required. Also troubleshooting of mechanical issues. As well as preparing and
finishing surfaces, molding, fabricate laminates, applying epoxies, laying glass fiber composites.
Composite repair. Using measuring tools and gauges. Use of glass fiber structural composites.
Repair of composites, including fiberglass, balsa wood, PET foam, carbon, aluminum, and resins.
The use of sanders, grinders, vibrating hand tools. Checked and recorded components and
processes according to specifications. Operated computer controlled processing equipment.
Cleaned and performed first line maintenance on machines and production equipment. Removed
blades from molds using cranes and applying mold release. Fit and assemble parts into complete
assembly. Cleaned work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Assembled Blade components to
precise specifications. Verified dimensions, conformance and alignment of finished work-piece to
specifications. Confined space trained and certified.

Duties include building and storing supplies in addition to glassware through safe and quality
oriented processes. These processes include the use of single and double wide forklifts plus the
monitoring and maintenance and PMs of high speed machinery. Machinery familiarity include:
Emmeti palletizers and related software, pallet binders, pallet stretch wrappers, and conveyors.
Also experienced with the software related to accurately creating and filing bills of landing. As
well as providing outgoing and internal customers effectively with courteous and professional
service with the appropriate paperwork and coordination. Other duties include basic inventory,
quality checks of ware, troubleshooting mechanical issues, preventative maintenance, use of CAT
926m for cullet dumps, and sustaining a clean and safe work setting.

Fueler

A multitude of duties with an emphasis on fueling and maintaining aircraft safely and efficiently.
Using an array of mechanical devices and adapting to varying situations in a very high stress
environment with tight deadlines. Responsible for the accurate accounting of fuel transactions by
way of paper work and computer input. Performing daily quality control checks on all equipment.
Ensured the correct loading and balancing of fuel. Defueling aircraft safely when needed. Use
and general maintenance of 10,000 gallon fuel tanker truck and pumper truck. Also addressing
any question or issues raised by the captain or crew. Worked inside the dispatch area answering
calls and radio messages related to fueling and helped any co-workers with the many issues that
can arise over the radio/phone.
