Course Objectives:

MBA I Semester
Subject:Managerial Economics : The course aims to make the students aware about
various aspects of the economy and equip them with tools and techniques for the
best utilization of resources and to get the maximum benefit. It also leads to
improve their decision making skills.
Subject: Business Accounting
The main objective of this course is to acquaint the students with fundamental concepts and processes of
Accounting so that they are able to appreciate the nature of item presented in the annual accounts of an
organization. Further, it aims at familiarizing the student with those significant tools and techniques of
financial analysis, which are useful in the interpretation of financial statements. These tools and
techniques form an important part of management planning and control systems.
Subject: Business Environment
The course aims to aware about the various aspects of environment for business in India and globally
which will provide them deep understanding of various factors influencing business organizations.
Subject: Business Statistics
Students completing the course will be able to understand why statistics is important for making business
decisions. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of statistical term. They shall be able to explain merits and
demerits of various statistical techniques. They shall also be able to read and interpret statistical
information and be able recognize when meaningful statistics are being used.
Subject: Communication for Management
The course intends to develop the communication skills among the students which will enable them with
skills required for job and corporate world.
Subject: Fundamentals of computer and information system
The course intend to develop the basic knowledge and skills of computer and give them a general
understanding of how a computer works and understand the different types of information which may be
stored in the system.
MBA II Semester
Subject: Customer Relationship Management
The Course aims at imparting knowledge of concepts and practices of CRM. Beside
concepts the course also aims to give a deep insight into the latest technologies
and emerging concepts in the field of CRM. At the completion of the course the
student shall be able to understand how modern businesses apply CRM in their
organization to retain customers and gain new one. The course shall even enable

them to design CRM practices and programmes for the organization they are
employed with.
Subject: Managing Human Resource
After completion of this course students will be able to get broad prospective on
themes and issues of HRM along with application , which will help them to build and
refine decision making skills and enhance their knowledge that they can help
organizations to effectively conduct personnel management and employee
relations.
Subject: Operations Research
Upon Completion of this course students will be able to formulate real-world
problem as a mathematical programming model. They will also understand
theoretical working of simplex method for LPP and perform iteration of it by hand,
understand the relationship between a linear program and its dual. They will be
able to solve specialized LPP like the transportation and assignment problem.
Subject: Cost and Management Accounting
The main objective of this course is to make students familiar with the applied
aspect of accounting and techniques of using accounting information for decision
making. Applied side of the subject is given emphasis and attentions compared to
its conceptual.
Subject: Research Methodology
Research Methodology imparts the education of the fundamental methods and
techniques of academic research in social science and research context. The main
components are research problem, definition, research process, collection of data,
analysis of data and report writing. It will help improve analytical approach among
students.
Subject: Operations Management
The Course is designed to make the students familiar with the different operations
management and production. It helps to understand how to determine the facility
location and layout, planning and forecasting, supply chain management, quality
management etc. This aims at acquainting them with appropriate tools and
techniques needed for understanding the operational situations and also
understanding the logistics management.

MBA III Semester


Subject: Rural Development

The objective of this course is to familiarize the students with the concepts in rural
marketing and rural development. It aims at making the students understand some

basic concepts and theoretical approaches related to Rural Social Structure. This course
also aims at making students able to critically analyze and evaluate rural development
programmes, natural resources management and their relationship with rural livelihoods.
After completing the course students shall become aware of changed scenario of Rural
Society in India.
Subject: International Business Management
The objective of the course is to provide students an opportunity to learn and understand
how business is conducted in the international arena. They will also able to understand
what are the various treaties and agreements among the countries of the world.They will
also learn about various theories one must know to conduct business in international
market.
Subject: Security Analysis and Investment Management
The objective of the course is to familiarize students with the concepts ,tools and
techniques applicable in the field of security analysis and investment management.
Subject: Management of Financial and Institutional services
It aims to develop the knowledge regarding the financial system in India which includes
financial institutions, financial services and financial market in India.
Subject: Consumer Behavior& Customer Loyalty
The objective of the course is to make the students to understand the complexities of
consumer needs of perception ,how they make decision to spend their income on
consumption related items , how their lifestyles, psychographics, reference group
demographics, affect their decision . It also helps them to understand that how to retain
customers build customer loyalty in them and translate them into effective marketing
strategies.
Subject: Integrated Marketing Communications
The objective of the course is to make the students learn the different aspects of
marketing. It also helps them to learn integrated approach of marketing with various
components and basic elements of communication and marketing.
MBA SEM 4
Subject: Strategic Management

The present course aims at familiarizing the participants with the concepts, tools and techniques of
corporate strategic management so as to enable them to develop analytical and conceptual skills and the
ability to look at the totality of situations. Class participation will be fundamental to the development of
the skills of the students.

Subject: Insurance and Risk Management


To make the budding finance professionals understand the fundamentals of Insurance and Risk
Management in order to enhance their knowledge and decision-making skills required for this
specialty sector.
Subject: Hospitality and Tourism Management
This course acquaints the student with the scope and complexity of the hospitality and tourism industry
by exploring the national and global relationships.
Subject: Behavioral Finance

The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to the new field of behavioral finance. The
theory is based on the notion that investors behave in a rational, predictable and an unbiased
manner.
While behavioral finance challenges this traditionally held notion. Reliant upon cognitive
psychology decision theory, behavioral finance is the study of how investors interpret and act on
available, fallible information. This course will help the students to identify persistent or
systematic behavioral factors that influence investment behavior.
Subject: Retailing and distribution management
This program helps management students to understand the fundamentals of Distribution management
and familiarizing the participants with the global dynamism of retail practices and provides a specialize
platform for developing cutting edge skills in retails. Class participation will be fundamental to the
development of these skills.

Subject: Negotiation and Counseling


To understand the nature , elements , recognize strategy and tactics of negotiation and describe
effect of emotions and moods on negotiation , able to learn communication in negotiation. To
understand the importance of negotiation and counseling.
