ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP

Capacity to play an active role in society, it is one of the key skills

which every European citizen should have.

ACTIVITY PLAN

The chronological stages of the project earmarked for the program.

It is defined by project activities, objectives, expected results and the
actors (institutions, staff, students).

ADULT LEARNER

Refers to all persons who now do not continue their education.

COORDINATOR / COORDINATOR INSTITUTION

For each learning partnership an official project coordinator is

needed to be determined. He coordinates the application process and
ensures the leadership in finalizing the report process which will be sent to
the National Agencies and also encourages projects and activities. Other
duties and activities within the framework of the project, will be shared
between the partner institutions.

PARTNERS / PARTNER INSTITUTIONS

Every institution and organization participating in the learning

partnership, but without any formal leadership role. It is equal with all
other participating institutions and fulfills the duties and responsibilities of
the projects and all activities are shared.

DISSEMINATION

To spread news or theories widely.

LEARNING PARTNERSHIP

The framework identified for small scale cooperation activities

between the institutions in the field of adult education.

LETTER OF INTENT

The commitment determined for conducting the partnership in a

healthy way which can be written by all partners.

LIFELONG LEARNING

 The lifelong undertaken learning activity in order to develop one’s
information, skills and capabilities together with the Personal, citizenship,
social and / or employment perspectives.

MONITORING

The constant checking of the project development process. projects

should be monitored throughout the duration of the project to be
successful. Monitoring, supervising and comparing it with the work plan of
activities and it also involves the use of the data obtained for the progress
of the project.

NATIONAL AGENCY

The foundations established as units for consultation and assisting

projects in every country.

PROJECT RESULTS

Training products, course materials, methodologies, processes, or

experiences.

ASSESSMENT

Increasing the impact of the project, local and national level but also
at European level for the integration of education systems to introduce the
project results and to benefit from them.

SUSTAINABILITY

After the termination of the contract, partners of the project are

capable of continuing. After completion of the project it is the capacity
that these results are to be used in a different context.
