successor company of erstwhile MPSEB intends to recruit 31 no. Manager- Assistant
Engineer (Electrical) on contract basis for 3 years and invite applications from eligible

Application fee for Unreserved /oBC candidates of Mp domicile and


candidates of all cateoories belonqinq to other states shall be Rs. 2500/-

per candidate.
Application fee for SC/ST candidates of MP domicile shall be Rs.2200/per candidate.
Payment of application fee can also be made in cash at Mp online kiosk.
MP Online portal charges shall be Rs.60/- per application for all categories
and shall be retained by MP online for the services provided.
No extra charge shall be payable for scanning of photographs etc., to the
kiosk apart from the portal charges.

AGE LIMIT
The age of candidates as on 01 .02.2016 should be

Maximum age limit:- 30 years

Age Relaxation
(a) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories having M.P. domicile,
Widow / Divorcee lady/Ex Serviceman shall get relaxation in upper age limit to an extent
of five (5) years.

(b)

Relaxation in upper age limit in respective category for departmental


(regular
or on contract) of MPSEB and its successor companies shall be
candidates
allowed commensurate with experience (for completed months) obtained after the
minimum qualification (Excluding training period) acquired by the candidate as on
01.01 .2016 subject to a maximum of five years. This relaxation shall be over and above
that provided in Clause 5(a) above for that category of candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
For Assistant Engineer (Electrical) on contract basis:-

a)

Only online TEST for academic assessment will be conducted. The test
paper will comprise of 100 questions of 3 marks each of two hours
duration as per the prescribed syllabus.

b)

There shall be negative marking and 1 mark shall be deducted for every
wrong answer.

c)

Admit cards for online academic assessment test will be available online
on www.mponline.qov-in.Candidates may be requested to download the
admit card from the above website and produce a copy of the same for
appearing in the online academic assessment test.

d)

The answer sheet of individual candidate, and model answer sheet (key)
will be published within three days from the date of test.

The candidate may challenqe the answer kev online within three days
after publication of the results by remittinq a fees of Rs. 600/- per
question, which is refundable onlv if challenqe is found valid. Thereafter
no challenqe whatsoever will be acceptable.

The board of examiners will examine the challenqes and their decision on

the kev of challenqed question will be treated as final and bindinq. The

For preparation of merit the weightage of online academic assesment test


to experience shall be 80:20.
The cut off marks in the online academic assessment test shall be 50% for
Unreserved/oBC category candidates and 4oo/o for sc/sr category
candidates.

s)

The weightage of experience will be given to deparmental candidates


(regular or on contract of MPSEB & its successor companies) only. A
maximum of 20 marks will be given for 60 months experience in relevant

field for completed months on pro rata basis.

Note: Experience certificate is to be submitted by the candidate in


the prescribed format only. Experience certificate not submitted in
the prescribed format shall not be entertained.
h)

Based on the online academic assesment test and experience, an overall

merit list shall be prepared. The merit list of all candidates shall be
prepared and the post of UR category shall be filled up (irrespective of
candidates belonging to any category). After filling all the posts of UR
category, merit list of remaining candidates of only reserved categories
belonging to ST/sc/oBC shall be prepared upto the cut off marks of
respective category.

The candidates shall be selected for contract engagement to the position


of AE(Electrical) from the merit list as per the Company's requirement. lf
the marks secured by two or more candidates are same, selection will be
based on date of birth in descending order i.e. older candidate will be
placed first in the merit list.

The validity of the waiting list shall be two years from the date of
declaration of result. However, the recruitment process may be closed for
operation of waiting list by issuing specific order even before two years.
The waiting list can be first utilised for filling up incidental vacancies for
contractual positions at a later stage.
The overall recruitment process or operation of waiting list may be closed
for engagement by issuing specific order even before the validity of the
merit list i.e. 2 years. After issuance of specific order of closure of the
process, the claim of any candidate shall not be entertained.

At the time of joining the Company, the candidates selected shall have to submit

assigning any reasons thereof.

k) Any legal dispute such as court case or any sort of complaint filed in RTI etc.,
arising out of this contract engagement shall be the sole responsiblity of
MPMKWCL, Bhopal.

SYLLABUS
The scope of the "Academic Assessment" test would cover the syllabi for BE in
Electrical Engineering, and 'Electrical & Electronics' Engineering as prescribed by
RGPV, Bhopal, MP. The assessment test would consist of 80 questions on technical
ability and remaining questions would be drawn from general awareness and aptitude.
