BASIC JOB STEPS

Trained workers should be involved according to the particular activity.


Workers should be aware of the hazards present in the activity
Tool box talk should be given to the workers before the work starts.
All hand and power tools should be inspected and should be color
coded.
All equipment should be inspected and have valid striker
Use proper access.
Do not use short cuts.
Proper housekeeping should be maintained

Need proper barrication, signage's, caution tape.


Tool box talk should be given before the start of the activity.
All the involved persons should have competency card, all the involved
persons should have pre commissioning training.

Pressure lock

Insure proper hose rating.

Hose ended connection shall be checked properly fixing with flash
erector.

Manifold pressure gauge and PSV shall be calibrated to insure
accurate rating.
No work is allowed inside the barricated area where hydro test is
ongoing.
Only authorized and competent person are allowed to work.
Need proper supervision and HSE coverage until the work finish.
Do not tight the valve flange or nuts while it is under pressure.

Need proper planning worker should be aware of the activity.


Maintain good housekeeping all passage should be clean from
obstruction.
Remove all barrication and signages after finishing the job.
