Transportation Engineering deals with planning, analysis
and design, implementation, operation and maintenance
of transportation systems

Transportation systems should be planned,


implemented, operated and maintained for efficient
movement of people and goods overcoming friction of
geographic separation for timely participation in desired
activities without creating economic waste

Rail Transportation System


At the end of the course the student is expected to
be conversant with significant aspects of railway
engineering
