I am an experienced Special Forces intelligence professional with deployed and combat experience in tactics, collection
management, and target development. I believe that my 20 years of experience in the military, 10 of those years in the Special
Forces with 6 years as Special Forces Medical Sergeant (18D) and the last 4 years as a Special Forces Assistant Operations and
Intelligence Sergeant (18F) makes me a valuable asset to your organization.
I am currently employed by the U.S. Army, as a Special Forces Assistant Operations and Intelligence Sergeant on Operational
Detachment Alpha 7214, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Eglin, Air Force Base, FL, 32542. I will be leaving the Army
(Honorable Discharge 1 September 2016) and will be available for employment by late June 2016. I am currently enrolled in
American Military University, bachelors in management with a projected completion date of May 2016. I currently maintain
an active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
My skills entail networking, rapport development and building relational capital through strategic social channels. My
strengths include effective written and oral communication, consensus building, creative team development and management,
critical analysis and attention to detail. I enjoy a fast-paced environment involving a diverse group of people and I approach
work with determination and a sense of humor. I am highly organized, well spoken and enjoy giving presentations or briefings
to upper levels of management.
In my 10 years in the Special Forces I have had 4 combat deployments to Afghanistan and 6 deployments to Central and South
America in support of USNORTHCOM and USSOUTHCOM. During my deployments to Afghanistan I have participated in
200+ combat operations and have worked as a Special Forces Intelligence Sergeant at the ODA, company and battalion level.
My duties have included working as an operation and intelligence advisor to the team, company and battalion commander in
regards to collection, processing, and dissemination of intelligence products. I have also worked in the S3X Special Activities
Cell where some of my duties included battalion personnel recovery systems manager, biometric program manager, antiterrorism force protection NCO and battalion sensitive site exploitation manager. During my deployments to Central and South
America, I have routinely provided intelligence and target briefings to staff, general officers and Department of State officials.
I have given classes to Allied forces in both English and Spanish, those classes have spanned from marksmanship, close
quarters combat, basic and advanced medical skills to target selection and Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield. The
audience of these classes has ranged from the basic soldier in the field to a host nation 3 star general and staff. I also have had
the privilege of being selected to work at a Joint Interagency planning cell as a Deputy Operations Officer where I spent 6
months at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico working in the Intelligence Fusion Cell.
My Special Forces training includes counterterrorism, counternarcotics, force protection, surveillance, counter surveillance,
organic collection; resource coordination and allocation; all source intelligence analysis; product development; HVI/HVT
targeting; intelligence driven raid coordination and de-confliction; timely dissemination at the operational and strategic levels;
and request for information (RFI) tracking and sourcing.
