Gujarat Law Society
GLS (J.P. Shah) Institute of Business
Administration is a premier institute of
international repute established under the
auspices of Gujarat Law Society in 1999
with the focus on imparting value-based
management education at undergraduate
level. The college is located right in the
heart of Ahmedabad city. Within a short
span of 16 years of its inception, GLSIBA
has become the most preferred institute
for undergraduate business education in
western India. GLSIBA achieved a new
milestone when it was accredited by
NAAC in the year 2015.
Gujarat Law Society (GLS) is a vintage
academic aggregation instituted by
luminaries like Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai
Patel, Sheth Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai and
Shri Ganesh Mavlankar with a single law
college in 1927 which ramified into two
campuses housing 29 institutions
ranging from preparatory schools to
graduate and post-graduate colleges in
diverse areas such as Arts, Commerce,
Law,
Management,
Computer
Applications, Professional Courses and

Doctoral Studies. It edifies over 24,000


students in varied disciplines through
these institutes. Under the goal-oriented
leadership of Shri Sudhir Nanavati, this
academic body has metamorphosed into
GLS University.
The City Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad is the commercial capital of
Gujarat and is important from the
historical and archaeological points of
view also. The city houses the administrative, educational, business and industrial
hubs of the state.

How to Reach the College


The college is about 10 kilometres from
the Air Port and about 6 Kilometres from
Ahmedabad
Railway
Station.
Transportation to the college both from
Air Port and Railway Station is easily
available. The college is situated near Law
Garden, which is a well-known area of
Ahmedabad.

Conference Preamble:
Higher Education in India was considered
to be the responsibility of the government
until the last century. At the turn of 21st
century, the scenario changed due to the
socio-politico-economic change induced
by the phenomenon called Globalization
which started around 1990 and global
recession in 2009. When the government
of India proposes a paradigm shift in its
National Education Policy, it would be
indeed mandatory for the academia to
brood over the form and content of Higher
Education in the years to come. We are
organising two days NAAC sponsored
National Conference which would be
helpful in deciding the future course of
Higher Education.

Expected Outcome:

Conference Structure:

The proposed conference will allow the


academia of the country to brood over the
issues emerging in Higher Education in
the Post Globalization scenario. It will
help to enhance qualitative effectiveness
of Higher Education.

Conference Structure will be a


combination of Key Note Addresses,
Experts Talks, Panel Discussions and
Best Paper Presentation Award. Three
best papers will receive cash awards and
certificates. Peer reviewed papers will be
published in a book with ISBN.

Important Dates:

The first page of the paper should contain


only :
Title of the paper
Name of the author
Affiliation
Address with Email & Phone no.
Abstract and the paper should be typed in
Times New Roman font in MS Word
format.
Font size is 12 for normal text and 14
for Title.
Line space should be 1.5
Abstract should not be more than 300
words
Selected papers will be peer reviewed
and evaluated based on originality and
relevance to the conference.
Full papers along with abstracts should
be mailed to:
iqac.glsbba@gmail.com
The abstract of all accepted papers will be
published in the conference proceedings.
Author will present the paper in person.
No papers in absentia will be accepted.
In case of Joint Authorship, Author as
well as Co-Author should register.
Certificates will be issued only on the
second day of the conference after the
valedictory ceremony.
