Profile
The Master of Supply Chain and Logistics
Management has given me a greater
understanding of the role that supply chain
and logistics plays in business. I have
developed strong leadership and project
management skills and gained a lot of
confidence, which will help me to succeed
in the workforce.
Originally from Germany, I decided to
come to RMIT because it has a great
reputation in this field. The best thing about
studying at RMIT has been meeting other
students from all over the world. The
teaching staff are also really helpful and
they have lots of industry experience.

With exponential growth in available data, the

requiring the skilled analyst. This program
provides you with complementary skills in
analytics, tapping into studies in statistics,
operations research, computer science,
information technologies, business, economics,

Profile
Ive always been good at mathematics,
and so analytics was a perfect fit for me.
Completing my bachelor degree at RMIT
exposed me to projects that
demonstrated the potential of analytics
in a range of areas.
Postgraduate study is very involved and
challenging, but it provides a great
launching pad to your career. During my
studies, Ive learned to analyse problems
critically, systematically and with
precision, making me more efficient in
problem-solving, in both my professional
and personal life.

Profile
The PhD provides a rare opportunity to delve deeply into a single issue which is of broad
importance to society. As part of the program I was able to draw from my own experiences as
well as the most up-to-date academic thinking in order to address my topic.
I chose RMIT because of its strong reputation for applied development economics research. In
particular, there was a specific focus on the Pacific region, which is where my research interests lie.
I also liked the thesis-only aspect of the PhD program, which suited my work and study
arrangements.
