PROBLEM Pupils are unable to add simple addition [1 digit number]
Pupils will be able to:
 adding one digit using online mathematical games “ABC Ya” orally which have been downloaded
to „alaimanja blogspot‟ with 6 out 10 correctly.
 adding one digit numbers using online mathematical games „Jet Ski Math‟ downloaded in
OBJECTIVES
„alaimanja blogspot‟ with 60% correct answers within one minute time.
 answer classwork exercise in „”Answer Chat Box‟ with 60% correct.
 answer worksheet (homework exercise) in Microsoft word that has been downloaded to
„alaimanja blogspot‟ with 6 out 10 correct.

INTRODUCTION 1. Teacher guides the pupils to enter „alaimanja blogspot‟ Computer
(~5 min) 2. Teacher asks pupils to see „Student Manual‟ and ask them to click on a word
„here‟.
3. Teacher asks pupils to read the procedure under Set Induction.
4. Pupils then click on the „Addition Rock‟ that has been downloaded to „alaimanja
blogspot‟.
5. Pupils are asked to sing together.

MAIN LESSON (PUPILS‟ CENTRE) Computer

TEACHING 1. Teacher asks pupils to read the procedure under Lesson 1. Projector
(~20 min)
2. Teacher asks the pupils to click on a video „Addition Concept‟.
3. Teacher uses pupils to demonstrate the process of addition concept
(Kinesthetic Approach)
4. Teacher asks pupils to read the procedure under Lesson 2.
5. Teacher asks the pupils to click on a video „Children Addition‟.
6. (a 4-minute video showing pupils on adding one digit with one digit).

(~15 min) PUPILS‟ TASK 1 & 2 (CLASSWORK EXERCISE)
1. Teacher asks pupils to read the procedure under „Task 1 & 2‟.
2. Teacher asks the pupils to click on „Task 1‟ that has been hyperlinked with
„alaimanja blogspot‟.
3. Teacher asks pupils to answer the „Task 1‟‟ by giving the answer in the „Answer
Chat Box‟.
4. Teacher gives response to the pupils answered in the „Answer Chat Box‟.
5. Teacher asks pupils to move on to the „Task 2‟.
6. Teacher asks the pupils to click on „Task 2‟ that has been hyperlinked with
„alaimanja blogspot‟.
7. Teacher asks pupils to answer the „Task 2‟‟ by giving the answer in the „Answer
Chat Box‟.
(~10 min) ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY (GAMES)
1. Teacher asks pupils to read the procedure under „Students Game 1‟.
2. Teacher asks the pupils to click „ABC Ya‟ that has been hyperlinked with
„alaimanja blogspot‟.
3. The pupils will click on the PLAY button base on a mathematical on-line games.
4. The pupils are asked to answer at least 8 questions.
(in this program, the pupils are guided to add using different kind of shapes)
5. Teacher asks pupils to read the procedure under „Students Game 2‟
6. Teacher asks the pupils to click „„Jet Ski Math‟ which has been hyperlinked in
the „alaimanja blogspot‟ and start the maths game.
7. The teacher asks to click on „continue‟ button to start the game.
8. The pupils are allowed to play the games for only 3 minutes

(~5 min) ADDITIONAL TASK (HOMEWORK EXERCISE)

Teacher asks pupils to download at home the homework task which they can get by
clicking on the pupil‟s task in the main page. For this task, they are asked to print
the task as the hard copy and will be kept in their portfolio.

CONCLUSION Teacher review today‟s lesson by asking pupils orally.
