Performance
The UNIMIG Workshop Series display the three most
important characteristics for heavy duty applications:
Firstly, they are High Duty Cycle machines that want to work
all day. Quality, copper wound transformers along with
highly scrutinised and tested components are the keys to all
day long performance.
Secondly, no matter how many features a machine may
offer, the operator must be able to take full advantage of the
machines every function & do so with ease.
Third, and foremost in any competitive environment, the
true value of an investment is its cost/benefit.
The people at UNIMIG know the the Workshop Series of Mig
Welders will still be performing many years after your
investment.

Four function Operation features Electronic

trigger latching, Cyclic, Spot or Continuous
welding options. Additional features
include; Wire Inch without current, Gas Test
Button and Adjustable Burn Back and Post
Gas Controls (Not available on 160 and 215
models), fan cooled copper transformer
for optimum arc characteristics and staying
power.
Thermal Overload protection ensures
efficient, low maintenance performance.
Multiple Voltage positions allows for the
widest range of material and thickness
welding applications. Enclosed precision
wire feed unit featuring 40mm geared
rollers (not geared on 160 and 215 models)
and four roller geared drive system on 425
and 500 models ensures a smooth and
reliable wire feed.
Separate Wire Feed units supplied with 10
metres of covered, interconnecting cables
and 10 metres of work lead. All leads are
fitted with convenient quick connect
fittings. All Workshop Series machines
accommodate 15kg wire spools, while the
SWF models incorporate a PCB and Gas
Solenoid Valve (GSV) in the wire feed unit.
Changes to the settings on the welding unit
can be conveniently made from the wire
feed unit and the location of the GSV
minimises gas losses during welding
operations.

Quality
The UNIMIG reputation was founded on the quality and
reliablity of every product in their MIG welding range. The
new Workshop Series incorporates the latest refinements
to the design and specifications of the machines. In
particular the Workshop Series range have been
systematically evaluated, component by component,
ensuring that they meet stringent International Standards as
well as the demands of the productivity conscious operator!

Distributor

Duty cycles for the Workshop Series range

are tested and complies to European
Standard EN60974-1 (10 min. Duty cycle
period).
