Have you ever wondered what rescued us from the tyranny of the British?

Was it
not the sense of freedom that evolved in the very minimal literate Muslims, who
were students to the modern education? If it werent for the students of those
timeswho were either convinced by sir Syed ahmed khan to submit to education,
or themselves analyzed the near future of our nation and adopted education for
the betterwe would still be spending a regretful life of slavery, either suffering at
the hands of the Hindus, or being pebbled around by the British. Would I and you
still be engaged in this competition if it werent for the students of the past? Most
certainly we are in forever debt to the students for our liberty.
Despite the fact that the 68 percent of the inhabitants of Pakistan is its youth,
Pakistan is at a low ebb. The question is how we change the course of our country
and direct it towards progress? There are no magical answers nor miraculous
methods to overcome the problems we face, just the familiar ones; prioritizing our
needs over our desires. That is investing in the youth, for it is the most productive
investments of all times. As Drew Barrymore says:
School feeding not only flls stomachs, but has a proven track record of boosting
enrollment, attendance and academic performance. For just pennies a day per
child, this program changes lives and ultimately can impact the futures of poor
countries around the world in a profound way.
The cause of salvation or destruction of a nation is in the hands of its youth. If the
youth is treated with care and sufficient educational resources the students will not
go abroad seeking education and Pakistan will not lose its future; but if these
children are left unattended and nothing is done for their
education, their interests fall into the wrong pot, joining extremist parties for
example. Hence the nation will crumble, just as a building without its solid base
dictates its most predictable fortune as its fall.
Hence as Rick Corsino says about his children:
Children are the future of this country. By investing in childrens basic education
we are contributing to the countys development and creating a literate and self
sufficient society.
Prophet Mohammed has emphasized on gaining education so much that, he
promised to bail war prisoners if they taught Muslim children. He valued those
of his companions who shared their knowledge with others and made as many
students as possible.
Have you ever wondered how china made it on top of the world list, despite the fact
that it gained independence in 1965, its pretty obvious really, by focusing on its
youth, they allowed their youth to prosper and so did they. America should be taken
into consideration when we talk about development, instead of holding a grudge
against them we should try to learn from them, they have successfully prioritized
education and every child is exempt of fee till tenth grade and after that the state
gives them interest free study loans, a

The topic is vast as a loom of thread and Ive just opened the thread.

Have you ever wondered what rescued our nation from the tyranny of the British?
Was it not the very sense of freedom that evolved in the minimal literate Muslims,
who were students to the modern education, and who provoked the hidden scorn of
the Muslims and directed it to the right path? Undoubtedly, if it werent for the
students who were either convinced by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan to gain education, or
themselves analyzed the near future and determined what education could do for
the better our nation would still be spending a regretful life of slavery, either
suffering under the Hindus or facing the wrath of the British. Would I and you still be
here for all this competition if the students of the past hadnt forged their future and
the future of generations to come? Most certainly, we are in forever debt to the
students for our liberty.
We are the
readers We are
the leaders We
are the students
We are the knowledge
seekers
We are the nation
builders
The widely held perception of a student is anyone submitted to a system of
education whereas, the word student has very vast meanings. Simply and
generally a student is anyone who perceives knowledge from his surroundings
and learns what is at hand. Quaid e Azam gave hard and fast guidelines to
through the ministry of education, he addressed the students as:
development is being sought in every walk of life and you have to take on this
process of development.
Are you preparing to take on tomorrows responsibilities? Are you building your
capacity? Are you trained enough? Is no, then go and prepare yourself because
this is the time to prepare yourself for future responsibilities.
Education broadens our horizons and opens new unicorns for our future. It
develops our intelligence and awareness, thus ensuring our glorious future.
The cause of salvation or destruction of a country, is it youth. If the youth is
decorated with the glory of education then it proves to be a silver lining for the
countrys future, but if their thoughts fall in to the wrong pot, that is joining
extremist groups, incidents like a mothers murder will continue bringing chaos to
not only the country but the world. As Rick Corsino says about the children of his
country:
Children are the future of this country. By investing in childrens basic education
we are contributing to the countrys development and creating a literate and self
suffcient society.
History pays many visits to our thoughts when we talk about such matters. Have we
not witnessed what were the consequences when we turned our backs towards
education, they were as deadly as hell. The countries like china who gained
independence after 1965 are now on top of the worlds richest and the most
prosperous country in the world ranking. They have the highest population and yet

literacy rates are satisfying, just because they have taken swift measures for the
compulsion of education, every child is bound to receive secondary education, that
is why every now and then we use products
manufactured by china, its work force is strong because its percentage of students is
high.

A similar course was adopted by japan after the Second World War. Japan invested
in the childrens education prior to every other state business. And provided them
with quality education and they have excelled in every feld of life. They made a
wise dicision for retaining their world status and achieving their former glory.
Setting a gaze on the country statistics we are sure to fnd India, China and Japan,
way more prosperous than in what condition we are today.
Still in these turbulent conditions, the students of Pakistan have ,managed to bring
world wide fame to Pakistan, ali moen nawazish who scored the highest grades I a
levels, malala yousuf zai who fought all social difficulties for one noble cause
gaining education. If in these cicumstances Pakistani students have managed to rise
up when over 70% children are deprived of education, so what lacks in thi nation is
not intelligence at all, but failure in prioritizing the need of the hour that is gaining
education.
The future of a country relies upon the students. Todays students are
tomorrows economists, scientists, innovators, teachers and collectively the
beacon of progress.
So if our nation pays our students a little support today, these students will pay
back to its country tomorrow. Then we wont have to migrate out of Pakistan to fnd
happiness, if we start our approach to happiness starting from today; putting in
every effort to gain education.
Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) has emphasized the importance of gaining education
when he set a bail for the educated war prisoners to teach any child. Because that
is what he considered more important than money or jewels.
Quaid e azam the founder of our
country says;
Pakistan is proud of her youth, particularly the students, who are nation builders
of tomorrow. They must fully equip themselves by discipline, education, and
training for the arduous task lying ahead of them.

School feeding not only flls stomachs, but has a proven track record of boosting
enrollment, attendance and academic performance. For just pennies a day per child,
this program changes lives and ultimately can impact the futures of poor countries
around the world in a profound way.
Drew Barrymore
"These children and their parents know that getting an education is not only their
right, but a passport to a better future for the children and for the country."
Harry Belafonte
"The economic benefits of investing in children have been extensively documented.
Investing fully in children today will ensure the wellbeing and productivity of future
generations for decades to come. By contrast, the physical, emotional and
intellectual impairment that poverty inficts on children canmean a lifetime of
suffering and want and a legacy of poverty for the next generation "
Carol Bellamy
"There are no magic answers, no miraculous methods to overcome the problems we
face, just the familiar ones: honest search for understanding, education,
organization, action that raises the cost of state violence for its perpetrators or that
lays the basis for institutional change and the kind of commitment that will
persist despite the temptations of disillusionment, despite many failures and only
limited successes, inspired by the hope of a brighter future."
Noam Chomsky
The greatest adventure is what
lies ahead. Today and tomorrow
are yet to be said.
The chances, the changes are all yours
to make. The mold of your life is in
your hands to break.
J. R. R. TOLKIEN, The Hobbit
When going gets tough and you have nowhere to turn, look to your children. When
the world seems to be heading towards chaos and nothing makes sense, look to
your children. When you doubt yourself or you doubt Gods plan, look to your
children. When you feel weak and are losing hope, realize, our children are our
hope!
