GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Applications shall be submitted to the Heads of the respective Teaching Departments of

University of Calicut (Please see the Procedure-7 in the Notification)
2. The following documents shall be enclosed along with the application:

Original chalan receipt for Rs.550/- (Entrance Examination fee Rs.500/- + Application fee
Rs.50/-) [Rs.170/- + Rs.50/- for SC/ST]

3. The fee is to be remitted to the Calicut University Fund by e-payment (please see
https://www.uoc.ac.in as per the Notification
4. Fee once remitted will not be refunded or adjusted.
5. Candidates are requested to approach the research centre for information/clarification regarding
the number of available seats and the subjects of specialization, particulars of research guide, etc.
6. The written examination will be conducted at each Research Centre.
7. University Fellowship for Research may be granted to eligible candidates and it will be decided
only after the completion of admission process.
